Hey guys, since it's the Christmas season, I figured I'd bring this up.

Nothing but Nets is a charity started by ESPN's Rick Reilly to stop malaria among African countries. A simple net above one's bed can be the difference in whether they get this lethal disease or not. Nothing But Nets sends these nets to those in need across the continent, and in villages they've sent nets to, malaria is down by 2/3rds. Right now through Jan. 4th, they're running a drive to get as many as possible to kids and refugees. For ten bucks, not only do you send a net, but Rick Reilly will match that donation up to 25,000 dollars, AND you get two free tickets to a Bobcats (or other team's) game. Now, I know times are very hard for a lot of people, but ten dollars is a couple frappachinos at Starbucks. and you could be saving some people's lives with that, and you get a free game with a friend or someone special out of it.

This is a UN sponsored charity, for those wondering, and the tickets are limited. I got mine for the Bulls game Jan. 5th, and they're section 208, halfway up. Pretty good seats for free, I'd say.

Now, if you can't give, don't, but this is an easy way to help out, feel good, and see your Bobcats play.

And if you really want to be technical with it, the $10 is tax deductable so call it a $~7 donation/ticket cost.

Thanks teej, great idea.
