For the love of god how many damn fouls does it take to realize this guy sucks? Seriously @ Knicks, not even 4 minutes into the game he's in foul trouble. Not to mention how soft he has looked over the past couple of games. Give the time to Brown, who by the looks of it deserves it wayyyy more then Diaw. Crash has every right to question his heart and I belive him after what I saw last night. Im tired of hearing about every freakin day after a game Diaw in foul trouble again, and his producton hasn't been good enough for me to sort of overlook it. Ok i'm good.

Eh, you can be disappointed in Diaw, I certainly am, but I wouldn't worry about this recent string of foul trouble. Never in his career has he had issues with fouling, as opposed to Chandler, who has had foul problems every season of his career besides his years in NO.

but to be fair fouls or no fouls he sucks and doesn't look like he gives a toss. From what ive seen of UPS hes up for it and he wants to succeed and hes posting better numbers the guy deserves to start its as simple as that. as for chandler atleast he appears to want to play i just dont think he can play although the knicks game was an improvement. but all in all our recent troubles im sorry to say it but they all come down to LB...:g:

It seems the foul trouble that Diaw has been in of late is due to his lack of conditioning and health. He's playing "lazy defense" using his fat ass to defend his opponent rather than his feet just like TC

LB needs to move him to the bench he can be a good 6th man

Who the hell can we bench him for? Derrick Brown?

I would love that, but Larry didnt play Derrick in the 4th last night, and Derrick was having the better game. This is a clear indication that it will not happen. Larry does not trust Derrick. And anyway, Derrick isnt really big enough to be a true Power Forward. He can come in for short amounts of time, but he doesnt have the size needed.

We really need a trade right now.

Walt (and I'm being dead serious) it is starting to look (to me) like Diaw is trying to foul out so he does not have to deal with the pressure...easier to shrug your shoulders (I guess) and sit on the bench...

No one really knows what his problem is but him...but he is all but unmovable at this point...I'd still rather have him as a back-up PF (if we can get someone like Collison) with the second unit which could use his talents...I think it would be the only way to get his value back up...unless the guy just will not play any better...if that's the case we're screwed...

The only reason I'm saying it is the fouls he has committed over the last 2-3 games a high school baller would not have committed...just down-right stupid kinda fouls...(shrug)...could be a total lack of concentration also...but if you care at all (about your team) why commit such useless fouls early in the game?

People the man has not said it out loud but his play has said plenty. Diaw has the talent but he is an asshole. The man is making millions and can finish out his contract with the Bobcats doing relatively nothing. He still gets paid either way. The only way to deal with this jerk is to find out what the problem is. We all know the man can play pretty good because we have seen him do so. A couple times this year and plenty last year. If we promise him a trade he may help us get a few victories in the process before he has upped his trade value enough to trade his ass.

I am guessing Diaw sees how good Phoenix is doing and realizes with the Bobcats he is on a team that currently has no hope of competing for a title any time soon. The man feels he is wasting time on a team he can't help win a title. Just my hunch. Either way if LB has any coaching abilities at all left in him he will get to the bottom of what might be bothering Diaw. That is the only way to know if this guy is going to be dead weight or if he will at least make himself worthy of getting something back in a trade. Anyway, I don't think the guy likes Charlotte or coach Brown.

Yeah, I was a huge Boris supporter last year. Great facilitator on offense; knock down the open 3 fairly regularly; could create his own shot and shots for others; a pleasant person to chat with; etc; but it's obvious he's not into it this year. The body language (weight aside) is just not right. I just remember last year during something as trivial as warmups, he would be smiling going around to teammates and such; this year he appears to be moping and disinterested, and the attitude carries over into games. There was always a little bit of the non-chalant in him, but this is something more. And like BRNC says, even the effort in the nonsense fouls he commits are poor....just lazy reaching or grabbing.

The addition of Jack has exacerbated his apathetic play, but it was apparent before that trade that something (and not just the ankle injury) was wrong with Boris. Like most things Bobcats related, we'll wait and see how this transpires...

it is one thing to root for and criticize a bad player who is at least trying, but when someone quits on you it speaks about their personality.

The guy knows that a title is the greatest achievement a player can have and he knows he has no chance of that in Charlotte. Don't think he does not see how well his old team is doing with once Bobcat player J-Rich. Is Diaw the kind to voice his concerns? Maybe he has been in the past. Whatever the issue something has made him unhappy that he is not talking about now. Coach Brown has to see what we are seeing and surely if Larry is any kind of person or coach he will get to the bottom of it.

I don't think he is anywhere near the end of his career. I'll say this: Its the first time in a few weeks I've had a chance to watch them play tonight, and he has been awful. DUmb fouls, can't hit open jump shots, giving up offensive rebounds...he has been a liability. Hopefully he can do something here at the end and make this post look stupid....
PS--As hot as Flip was in the first half, where is he now???? Don't get that a bit

All I can say is WTF man 1-8 in 34 minutes. I cant imagine UPS being any worse, heck we could probably throw someone from the arena on the floor and do better, if not at least the D league. I'm guessing he knows he's out of here at the deadline if anyone will take him :)

Boris is now averaging 7 points and 3 boards over the last 9... yet continues to get 35 minutes per game. Makes NO sense. Even though UPS isn't really a 4 he could contribute more boards then that in 35 minutes. Hell, move Gerald to the 4 and play UPS at the 3.

Could that really be it? Could a grown ass man, Who's been in the NBA numerous years now, Be mad that his "friends" are gone so he's playing like a big baby?

Could he be mad that He's no longer the go to man to get the offense started? Now that Capt. Jack pretty much runs the O he might feel a little jealous. Boris is the 3rd opition, really the 4th. Last year he was pretty much tied with Crash offensive touches. Is he mad he's lost his leader role?

Excuse my french but Boris Diaw is a big pussy.

PS--As hot as Flip was in the first half, where is he now???? Don't get that a bitDiaw may have some quality years in him but just how many? I just think he realizes he is going to be nowhere near a championship with the Bobcats no matter how well he plays. I think that with the fact that he feels he is being slighted as far as his role on the team and the fact that Bell is gone have all contributed to his lack of effort on the Bobcats.

Whatever the issues are with Diaw it is up to the great Oz aka Larry Brown to get inside the mans head and figure out what is wrong. At that point it will be the front offices decision to keep or trade Diaw. I am sure Diaw might actually say something if it turns out he would be traded to a non contender. Any way you slice it Diaw is really a detriment to the team at this point. I think the team can sort it out with TC but they definitely need to look closely at all the players to see who seems to have an attitude problem and is hurting team chemistry. From my perspective the whole team is starting to suffer as a result of a few bad apples.

Why should Felton, Jax and Crash bust their asses every night when Diaw, Tyson and to a certain degree Flip Murray are not adding much to the team? It is time these players be seriously evaluated. Personally I don't think any of those three I mentioned want to be in Charlotte any longer. That is a shame because if everybody buys in to the system and plays like they want to win these Bobcats could actually be better than an 8th seed.

It's the same thing every night with Boris. He does just enough not to get benched. I can understand a couple game slup like what Capt. Jack is in. But it's been and 10 games or more. I wasn't a fan of Boris in the 1st place, his attitude isn't making things any better. He needs to go, We need a real PF anyway.

Some one please explain to me what Brown sees in DIAW . Brown loves a small line up with Boris playing the five. Brown loves the ball going through his hands on offence for assist though he turns the ball over more than the assist he gets.

Another thing with Brown why does he all ways try to match up with the other team instead of forcing the other team to match up with us.

Case in point Diop helps build us a 20 point lead last game . They take out Boget , Brown goes small . We lose a 12 rebound edge a squeak by with a 10 point win. With Diaw leading the way with three boards maning the five position. Some one please explain ?

No explanations here, dav. I'm as confused and pissed off at the whole situation as you and most, if not all of us here. I mean GW on Bosh late in the game and Nazr and Diop sitting on the bench?!?!
