like i said im not gunna act like ballwhore did last year an not tell yall what i know, BUT a VERY close source heard strait from larry browns mouth the following words:
"Collison? I dont think that would work with his salary? I think that would be an additional $2million"
Later the source said he heard another member of the coaching staff talking about it again an heard him say
"Yea he's not a huge scorer but he can defend very well and will get us rebounds for sure".
Now i am not positive what this means. Could be nothing, but it sounds to me like some inquiring about nick collison an possibly another big man on the thunder. this would make since since ok city wanted tyson chandler. A possilbe tyson for collison and nenad krstic would work. I know some of yall have already discussed this type of trade on here. or he could have been talking about darrin collison, but that wouldnt make a lot of since because he is on the hornets an what would we want him for???
i dont know, again it could be nothing...but even if it is simply inquiring about nick collison, that gets me really excited

TC for Nenad and Collison. I like the sound of that. But Diaw is our real issue. However, if he comes off the bench maybe that will be the wake up call he needs.

if anyone else watched the internet broadcast of the game last night, when acie law came into the game, the announcers said that the bobcats will use his expiring contract to make a trade.
they didnt say "they MIGHT", they said "they WILL use". thought that was weird
i wonder if this has anything to do with this.
also, on WFNZ, steve martin was on the frank and buck show, and there was talk about a trade too
i really think there is something brewing..it's hard to say if it will amount to anything

Idk, we gotta get some value out of this... The Thunder were giving up Chris Wilcox for Chandler last year. Collison is a quite a step down from Wilcox IMO. Obviously TC isn't a very attractive asset right now, but if they were willing to part with Wilcox for him last year (I know he's gone now), we gotta be able to get more than just Collison.

They do and it has been my feeling that OKC is our best trade partner...they want a "D" center and think Ty is one...they seemed to be "show-casing" Collison when he came back from a twinge injury...now he's not playing much again...I can see us doing a deal with them but we're stuck with Diaw...if a starter goes out it will be TC not Diaw...

Nick actually has a good contract...not that long...plays good "D" and helps the team...and maybe motivates Diaw to play better...so why is it exactly that you don't want him?
...and let me be specific...Nick and Ty's contract end at the same time (since there is no way Ty opts out)...and Nick makes 3 million less than Boris...and is a heck of a lot more consistent and brings "D" every night...

The thing is that one trade isnt gonna make us great, but hopefully well get gradually better. Getting a solid starting PF is a step, albeit, a small step in the right direction

I think it's Diop we are thinking about dealing over TC. Maybe Diop for Collison straight up? That would leave us with better trade bait next year with a large expiring contract in TC. I don't know how anyone else would want the bench warmer right now though

Diop for Collison would work for me....I don't think this is something Presti would do because of the length of Diop's contract...and I'm not sure that he will bite on TC anymore because of the continual (nagging) little injuries...
But, trading either Diop or TC if Collison comes back is fine with me...getting an expiring back with Collison would be even better...but if we include someone like DJ (as opposed to AC or Flip) we'd better be getting one of their #1s back also...

I know...but they also cut two PGs for that trade...Presti is always a difficult "read"...hard to say what he will do...this is the only thing I'd bet...he will be loathe to trade either of his 1st...he has a plan and has stuck to that plan up to now...so I doubt he will change it...

believe me i think diaw is really starting to suck, and ive thought since day one tyson sucked but i dont like this trade for charlotte. diaw playing good or bad opens up the floor and helps with offense way more then those three. kristic is soft i want none of him. i feel like we can get something better for diaw, maybe package with DJ. but honestly i dont know whos available and a good fit besides bass.

Diaw is Gay, No homo. He is playing the most sissified basketball I've ever seen. It's really shameful and Derrick Brown is the same size as Diaw. minus a few pounds. Which UPS makes up for in muscle and hustle. Diaw is so slow this year, He doesn't help move the ball. In a motion offense there's suppose to be motion not diaw moving in slow mo and half ass attempting to get rebounds.....Lets not even bring up his defense!!

Diaw has the ability to be an asset to the Bobcats but his play most of this season says he does not want to be in Charlotte. It is time for the front office to wise up and trade his sorry ass. They need to tell him that if he want's to leave Charlotte he needs to play well enough for a stretch to have any decent trade value. I have no doubt his actions have spoken more than his words and he does not want to be in Charlotte based on that alone.
Diaw has to be one of the biggest jerks if not THE biggest jerk in all of team sports!!
