Hopefully, with Naz starting again, Gerald doing what he does and an improved and shorter rotation we can beat the Bucks for their 6th loss out of the last 7 and our 8th of 10 at home.

Also depends on how well Nazzy holds Bogut down and how Felts holds down Jennings. Hopefully Felts looks at how Jennings plays and Jennings continues his slump in shooting. Hopefully we have a good shooting night, and that Crash bounces back from a sub-par performance last game.

I just heard back from Matt Beardmore the writer that called us the Hornets, seems like a nice guy and quick to respond. He says he'll keep up with BCP and promises to never call us the Hornets again! If we could get the rest of the National and sometimes local (I'm looking at you Observer) to agree to that as well.

I see this one being close on paper but one team or the other really pounding the opponent, depends on who gets hot early. I like the Brandon Jennings storyline but don't like that he's the one guy that decided to go to Europe rather than college (except for European guys). Keep him and Bogut to 35 points combined or less and I think the Bobcats have this one in the bag.

If we play like we did vs. Detroit and OKC we'll get our asses kicked. We haven't been wanting it more than our opponent, and Skiles' teams play great defense (which usually gives us trouble).

This Bobcats team is so Jekyll & Hyde that I have no idea what to expect for tonight's game. My hope is that we see another solid game from Nazr and after a 1 game slide Gerald returns to his usual beast mode.... And the Bobcats get a win of course.

Biggest and best surprise of the night...and against Bogut too. Course reading the Bucks' board (they are hilarious) he's prone to "pube" nights. I didn't realize Skiles made him and Redd sit for the entire 2nd half.

Gerald, Raymond and the Bench put on a masterful show. Off nights from Jack and Nazr (every night is an off night for Meow, so that goes without saying), but the bench picked up the slack and that was enough on this night.

Scott Skiles is my hero for benching Redd and Bogut in the 2nd half for lackluster play in the 1st......and it paid off with the Jennings/Ridnour backcourt doing some serious damage in the 3rd. Now, if only we had a coach that would bench certain starters for bad energy and lackluster play...:g:

Since the team refuses to win on the road, these games are must-wins, and they got it done. If they could just frikkin' get a few here and there on the road, they could be almost guaranteed of a playoff berth at this point, but alas they'll continue to make if difficult on themselves and their fans no doubt.

Anyway, it was fun to see my boys play live for the first time in a couple weeks.....and get another win! Salud!

Thought I would try something different w/ this game. Made some notes from each quarter and this is what I came up w/

1st Qtr: turnovers, Bucks are attacking Diop on the pick and roll, too many non aggressive turnovers, Diaw's foul on Jodie Meeks (weak ass foul) Boris didn't even try to block the shot, eliminate the turnovers and we can walk out w/ yet another win in the Cable Box

2nd Qtr: DJ's shot is looking better, Is Hakim auditioning for a PF job w/ the Cats?, Please stop w/ the turnovers Jack, bench is playing very well (pack this effort for the road games PLEASE), lead should be larger than 10, DJ's missed the last 3 good looks, Diop playing like a good back-up center (sans the air ball FT), we are rebounding well tonight, there are times when we look like a top 5-6 team in the East at home

Halftime: Diaw's lack of contribution outstanding so far, did we learn from the Detroit game to keep your opponent in the dirt?, Will the bench keep up the good work?, Diop's best performance as a Bobcat?

3rd Qtr: Diaw's at it again, too many contested shots, ball movement please, if the lead is less than 15 at the end of the 3rd I'm upset, Brandon Jennings = Damon Stoudamire, force Jennings to the right and he is a different player, let down going into the 4th

4th Qtr: Diaw sucks, we're trying to lose this game, where is Derrick Brown?, thanks for sitting the starters Coach Skiles, Stephen Graham gave us good mins off the bench tonight, enjoy your time in the NBA Acie.

Win meh..................Diaw sucked 4 TOs,5 assists and 2 boards in 34 minutes check this out finished with a -5 while UPS had a +2.Seriously LB better start giving UPS more time it's becoming obviously clear he needs to, and i don't want to hear UPS is undersized....he's the same height as Diaw 8 pounds less......LB has some serious issues with rookies doesn't he.

At this point in time, if Diop could keep playing that well, I would have this outcome.

1. Nazzy/TC 4 and 5, Diop backs up TC, UPS backs up Nazzy, Diaw 3rd string
2. At the 4 UPS/Diop/Diaw
At the 5 TC/Nazzy/Diop

Would love to see UPS start a game. If Jax's shooting slump continues, I would like for Hendo to get a lot more burn. Seriously, the way Diaw is playing now, I would have Diop start over him. At least the chap can defend and DUNK the ball.

Either way, great win. I have to say, I'm impressed that we won. Felton had subpar stats, but no TOs. Jax played crap. Crash dominated. Diop played decent, although his airball made me laugh pretty hard. Brown's reverse dunk was sexy, as was Felton's pass to Jax. DJ is slowly starting to find his shot which is good. Graham did decent, as did Flippers. Diaw...:facepalm:

Watching the game last night from a great vantage point (thanks Keetch!) really showed how much Diaw just plain out doesn't want to be on the floor most of the time. His effort is seriously piss poor and he doesn't even look like he wants to hustle.

I didn't see him SPRINT at any point in the game last night, not once. Diop was getting down the court faster than him. I understand he works out of the high post, but damn by the time he gets there the clock is already down to 14. Just pathetic.


I hate seeing Ray and Crash and some of the other guys bust their asses for the entire game because they want to win no matter what, only to see people like Diaw ham (oh look, ham.) it up all game long dragging everybody down.

As for Chandler, dude spent most of the game flirting with that blond chick sitting front row next to the bench and didn't even seem interested in the game. Loser.



I don't think Jack really had that bad of a game. You could see in his body language that his back is still bothering him and it seemed to effect his mobility a lot. He didn't shoot well but a lot of them were close to the basket that just rimmed out. Not like he was taking bad shots, they just weren't falling. I don't know why Hendo didn't get more burn because of this, but hey.......
