Why? He's 6'7 and leads the league in minutes and rebounds. I'm more surprised they don't have him up for most improved player

But he doesn't lead the league in blocks or steals so I to was a bit surprised by it. I'm not saying he doesn't deserve it, but there's no chance in hell he would actually win the award. Dwight Howard would have to miss significant time to not win (the press is in love with him).

I think Most Improved right now is Juwan Howard. From what some of the pundits on ESPN were talking about.

Exactly.

But even if he just comes in the top 5 in voting I'll be happy.

As deserving as Crash is for defensive player of the year, Durrant is equally not-deserving of Most Improved. The level Wallace is playing at on both ends is unreal right now.

Looks like Gerald Wallace is getting more and more attention...just in time for All-Star considerations hopefully as well!

Who, then? Durant is equally unreal.

NBA.com just had another write up regarding Crash. Calling him the Hardest Working Man in basketball and going on to call the Crash,Jax and Flip combo the toughest trio in the NBA since the Bad Boys of the Pistons.

Haha damn, sorry. I seen a few different articles about crash and I guess I am slipping in my old age. Sorry.

But hell even with the relink, it is good to see crash getting his much deserved recognition.

Havent been here in a while because of the weather. Its been 7 degrees to 25 degrees here with winds of 20-60 mph and we have 6" of ice pack on top of this mountain and it snows just about everday, weather it be flurries or more. Power has gone off a few times but they get that repaired fairly quick and same with the phones. Id get a cell but there arent any towers around to get a signal here so its a waste of money to have one, At least I have slodem I mean dial up. The Bobcats are seeming to be getting it togeather finally.
Good to see crash finally getting some respect because he deserves it....
Go Bobcats......

Teej - Durant almost made the all-star team last year and his stats are pretty similar in most areas. He definitely has improved and has started to play D, he should be in the MVP convo before the MIP...aren't these exactly the kind of performances you expect out of a 2nd overall pick who is arguably the best one-and-done ever? It's not like this is happening out of nowhere. He went from one of the top 20 guys in the league to top 10, hardly MIP material.

As much as I hate the guy, Joakim Noah deserves most improved more than anyone else in the league.

Don't you love when the press not only actually acknowledges our existence, but says were actually good too.
