Forget whether it is justified or not, this can only help the Cats. The Wizards are a Division foe and every game they play against us and without him helps us.

What will be more intersting is will the Wizards move to VOID his Contract on grounds he violated the terms and got himself suspended indefinately. That is one HUGE contract I know they would like to VOID and give them lots of cap space. If they try it, man will it get personal and ugly.

Good for the league.

I think they are going to try to void the contract. They don't want gil around any more and there is no way to trade him otherwise. Bad situation.

Wizards are also cooperating with Stern, that makes me think that they're trying to get rid of him one way or another. Arenas had been overpaid as soon as he signed that $111 million contract, and if they have any chance, I think they will immediately void the contract.

And Arenas deserved all the things he encountered.

This is ugly.

Man, if someone was trying to take $100,000,000.00 from me, justified or not, I'd fight like hell. It will likely be an out of court settlement for a certain undisclosed amount. But this looks like it is going to get very ugly.

I hope they can't void it and are stuck with him, or at least have to go for a buyout. The fact he has made a joke out of this over and over is almost as bad as what he did in the first place.

He's simply a goofball playing with dangerous toys... or he's a madman masquerading as a goofball. Anyway, one less team to contend with.

From zero to zero, way to show 'em, dude.

See here's why they should have left the team name alone... he could have said the guns were for the mascot :)

-in case you're unaware, they were the chicago packers, chicago zephyrs, but most importantly the baltimore then capital, then washington BULLETS! so Ironic, kinda like if a real live mountain lion got loose at a bobcats game :)

First 5000 fans get a free glock handgun... I'd sign up for that!

Wizards' Crittenton is sentenced to year of probation, fined after pleading guilty to misdemeanor (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/01/25/AR2010012502032.html)

Here's the money quote:

"Mr. Crittenton brought a lawfully owned, unloaded handgun into Washington, D.C. only because he legitimately feared for his life. The government's proffer of facts to be filed today acknowledges that his handgun was not loaded and that he never threatened anyone with it.

You fear for your life so you bring an unloaded handgun? :g:

^Isn't the hardest person to shoot (on purpose) the one who has no way to defend himself? Trying to understand these guys is like Steven Hawking trying to sing. Impossible.
