Crap! We need him for Miami game to solidify our hold on 5th. Please let his ankle feel better overnight!!

I wouldn't even let him practice or anything tomorrow, just let him rest it, ice it, massage it, whatever is needed to relax the muscle, the game against Miami is huge, but so is this upcoming road stretch which we'll need a few wins...

If he has to sit out a game fine, but don't force him to play and risk injuring it further

the way it got steped on it didn't look that terrible. Not like he planted and it just rolled over or anything. Hopefully he is alright for the long haul. If he can't go for a few games, perfect chance for derrik brown to step in. I would love to see some hendo time too.

The fact that he doesn't seem optimistic is scaring me. Obviously it isn't real serious since he came back and played, but I just hope its not something that is going to force him to miss any games or the dunk contest.

i will be very very nervous if he has to miss some signifacant time like 4 or 5 games, and really dissapointed if it effects him making the all star team

Guys - He missed 5 games with a concussion, and a week with a collapsed lung and broken rib. Not to sound like a broken record, but he won't miss more than a game or two at most.

If he needs to sit out one he will...if not he'll be on the court...he is as aware how important the Miami game is for the team...

His injury would be catastrophic if it lasts longer than a few days. Hopefully it only lasts that long and gives him some well deserved rest at worst. If it is still lingering into the upcoming western road trip it could spell trouble. We need for that trip as well as all-star weekend. The franchise needs the exposure.

He will definitely miss 2 or 3 games.

Now I hope we will get the chance to see UPS in the starting lineup.

I know UPS is doing great and all, but I honestly think Larry would start Flip and move Jack to the 3.

My 2 cents for the day...

Also, with each day that goes by that I havent made a single game all season I get more and more upset...damn this economy all to hell I say.

I really hope he's not going to drop out of the dunk contest. There are some fans who forget that the Bobcats are even in the NBA untill their teams plays us and I think it would help show people we are a real NBA team.

The word about Crash's ankle, according to Rick...

http://blogs.charlotte.com/inside_the_nba/2010/01/no-change-on-wallaces-ankle.html

So, in short, we'll know best tomorrow. I wouldn't be surprised to see him sit. Or dunk on someone's head. This is Crash, after all.

Edit...how does nothing new suggest it's more than an ankle sprain? Ah...just Rick being Rick. I should let that be, I guess.

Yeah, that's what I also thought. Bonnell = Epic Fail.

Still, hopefully it's "just" an ankle sprain.

So Tyson is nowhere close to ready. Huh, well at 9-3 I'm not too concerned however that could quickly change with the tough road trip looming in the near future.

Im cool if he has to miss the Miami game, I rather him miss one game then miss 5 or 6.

We are so lucky to have Gerald on this team. He is a monster. I wish Boris and Tyson had half the heart Gerald and Stephen have.

No need really for us to be talking about Crash missing the dunk contest. The All Star game isn't till Feb. 14 right? Tonight's game is a big game, So it's great that Crash is playing but to be honest I'd rather him sit one game just to be sure.

I hate LB's small ball lineup with Diaw at center. There's noboby down there to block shots in the lane. Chi and Sac killed us on penetration. LB is losing points with me by letting Diop and Nazr sit and putting Diaw's weak ass back to protect the basket

Yhea even if Crash plays LB's probably gonna limit his minutes.

Good news. But Gerald does worry me.I hope he doesn't go out and hurt himself even worse. He needs to try and take it easy tonight.

If it is just a minor sprain, I don't see how he could really hurt it worse. Unless it is some deep tissue sprain, there isn't any risk of a long term issue with it.
