I partially agree with this article but none the less this was a good read..

The Charlotte Bobcats’ Jekyll and Hyde nature is one of most interesting yet under-discussed stories of the 09-10 season. Their chances of being a fifth seed in the playoffs are about equal to their chances of not making the playoffs at all. Larry Brown has the necessary pieces to win, but he still needs to do one of the best coaching, teaching and mentoring jobs of his long career to make that a reality.

At Brown’s age, I’m not sure if he can handle the emotional swings of coaching this Bobcats team. You really don’t know what you’ll get from game to game. We’re talking about a team that historically gives the defending champs, the Los Angeles Lakers, fits; but will lay an egg against any random team on the road.

The Bobcats have the unfortunate distinction of giving the lowly New Jersey Nets their first victory of the season. Of course, the loss came on the road and it’s a perfect moment that describes the ’09-’10 Bobcats.

The duality of their home and away records is enough to turn Larry Brown’s salt-and-pepper locks to Del Harris snow white. The Bobcats are an impressive 16-4 at home, but a mind-boggling 3-15 on the road – practically mirrored records. This says a lot about the focus, mental fortitude and emotional balance – or lack thereof – of this team.

Brown is as tough as it gets. His challenge is getting this team to believe they can win when the chips are stacked against them. Let’s look at the key players from the roster and analyze to whom he’s trying to relay his message:

After watching this team over the last 10 games, I really think they have turned the corner. Yes, we may still lose road games, but it won't be against the bottom feeders in the league. This team seems super confident and it shows.

We could very well continue to suck on the road, but I seriously doubt it.

People point at that road record and fail to mention that most all of them weren't decided til the end of the game. They also fail to allow any time for the team to gel after adding Stephen Jackson. We saw it start to come together down in Miami and we saw it even more when we beat the Cavs at the "Q".

All of us were here...we are witnesses. We obviously won't go out and win them all...but I'm willing to bet the team is going to make articles like this go away pretty quickly.

It seems that the way the season has gone that this article is right on the money.

at least the article is pretty factual and isn't just some rag reporter looking at stats and spilling out some crap article. i feel like it was going to take a few games to get thomas and ratliff comfortable and we were going to need a few games as well to get the injured centers back in to the flow. we were playing small ball for a handful of games and running our dogs into the ground. lb starts using his bench, resting some people a little more and we have one of our centers back.... result = we start winning. it's only going to get better once nazzy and diop come back. none of our 5's are world beaters, but combined, they give us the backbone in the paint that we need.
