I don't know how much weight Sekou Smith carries in the NBA journalism ranks but he just proclaimed us the best team in the NBA (at least right now).

I think my brain is about to overload from all the positive press we're getting right now.

EDIT: Be sure to watch the game recap on that page, Kenny Smith and the crew is so enamored by the team its funny.

I agree, we are the best team in the NBA RIGHT NOW, but if/when tyson returns do we lose our momentum? I say get him healthy and then put him on the bench. He could do Diop's job better, meaning he could play those 10-15 mins better defensively than diop.

I want to go to a game so badly, except im stuck in chapel hill where the basketball here is not as fun to watch. (surprising) I would rather watch these bobcats than the heels, craziness i know but damn these bobcats are something else. Orlando better watch out cuz they are in some kinda funk that if they dont work themselves out we might be able to catch by the end of the season.

Love rooting for these guys, LETS GO CATS

we have been playing lights out lately thats for sure...but our true test starts 2morrow vs. atl

we have 8 games in 13 days...only one of them is a home game (magic)

we have 3 sets of back to back day games

hawks/magic
nuggets/suns
warriors/kings

then finish up our brutal trip at portland, day of rest, then end with the lakers...heres what i predict:

hawks, suns, warriors, kings, lakers= WIN
magic, nuggets, blazers= LOSS

if we can go 5-3 in this span, there is NO doubt in my mind that we are the best team in basketball right now

If any of you guys watch/listen to the Basketball Jones podcast, you would hear them talk about the Bobcats as the team of the decade so
far.

What we definitely have to do is right this momentum onto the road, where we've obviously had difficulty. If the 'cats stay on fire on the road, then we're absolutely a force to be reckoned with.

Charlotte Bobcats, Best team in 2010

I think Larry Brown going to wear out the starters. It's the small ball line up, I can't stand it. I don't care if it does sorta work. Teams get way to much penetration. Teams are getting way to many rebounds. Wallace can't do everything. He can't block all shots and get every rebound. I see alot of rebounds that could have been gotten if we only had a 6'10 or up big man on the court. Diaw can't jump, the our teams guy just reaches over him to tip it to himself. Larry Brown needs to stop playing small ball so much just like last year we had way to much of the Ray DJ backcourt.

I could be reading this wrong, but it looks like we are most effective with Diaw at C

I would have say thats because all three of our Centers are garbadge. Yes even Nazr. Tyson is the youngest and most athletic, but he can't do anything right and that was before getting injuried. Diaw may be more productive then those three, but thats still not saying much.

Then if you think Diaw at C is garbage and all the 3 Cs are garbage. What should we do? =o

Wow. Just Wow.
Can't believe that was written, but oh well.

As for our 3 C's. When we verse a good post player like Boozer/Bosh/Howard, we cry.

Diaw doesn't do anything on defense, especially not low post defense. He can't jump, so the rebounds he gets bounce in his direction, He doesn't go after them or fight like Wallace. Personally I'd rather see Diop more. Bigger body, better defense.

Those who have been on the forum for a while know I absolutely adore a great defensive team...well what we have here is that team. Number 1. Numero Uno.

Look at that rotation at around the 2:10 mark. That is championship D right there guys.
