Does anyone else get just a little annoyed everytime you go to the arena and see Lebron's enormous State Farm mural cast over the walls of our city's so called center? Why Lebron...and not our All-Star?

After the all of the magic thats going down in the arena as of late, surely we can do better by our boys!

Ship that thing on to Cleveland.

Yea Its kinda dumb......But its just an advertisement and its not like its a Lebron Nike ad. But I get your point...

We need to have huge Wallace, Jack, Felton, Diaw, Chandler, etc etc around the arena. Remember how the columns in the main entrance of the arena used to have players on them? Lets bring that back too!

I did like the new Jack's #1's and Golden Grahams and all those in the arena though but they arent very visble unless you are in the lower level.......

It is still funny. When Sacramento was in town I told a really gullible friend that the Bojangles uptown was out of food. The wraps on the columns in the lobby and the banners outside got gone, the video screens outside the bowl as you walk in the main atrium are new this year. All very expensive and the hardest thing is putting something permanent or semi-permanent with a player or even a coach. I know when I'm riding the escalator I hate to see all the Mek, Sean May and other "local" heroes. I know you have to put something up to look at but it's so hard in the era of free agency and when you have Larry Brown as your coach and guys who look at this as a strict business in charge. They are so, so much less attached than we are.

The State Farm thing, it has to be because they pay the team/arena for the space and don't want to pay a player on the local level. Lebron's deal must cover all that and the whole league. It's like the Sprite thing, like they can't get a new guy to do the autograph? No, Sprite paid Raja and now he's gone they dont want to pay someone else. These are my theories.

Yes, it is still funny, and will always be funny. Perhaps ammofan doesn't understand how large Sean May is...should we get him a sumo match with him?

Mark my words, Gerald as the biggest star in the dunk competition, possible All-Star. Check that, probable All-Star. He will get some serious love from sponsorers. It is a shame the economy is the way it is. He'd be on quite a few local car adds...playoff run too, it'll come.

Sean May = fat

i hate that damn lebron sign. you can see it perfectly too from the upper level balconies. i have a feeling that will be down sooner then later. does anyone remember them talking about painting a mural on the side of the building back in the day when we just got felton and okafor had just won rookie of the year? that'd be something awsome with the wallace and the crew. but then again, larry brown may look at the mural and realize that someone needs to be traded haha.

From RealGM
The Kings signed Sean May to a one-year, $884,881 deal last month, but a portion of a contract isn't guaranteed. Sources told the Boston Globe that $100,000 of the deal, which is worth the veteran's minimum for a player with four years of NBA experience, is tied to May's weight.
The former Bobcat will receive the $100,000 if he reports to training camp or begins the season at or below 265 pounds.

Anytime your contract has a weight limit, you're big
