I'm 99% sure Crash will make it, but what if he gets snubbed....Do you know how big the chip will be on his shoulders. And I think the team will feel snubbed as a whole b/c we're playing so well. It's almost to a point that I want this to happen just for the second half push. But Gerald deserves this probably more than any reserve in the East.

As a Bobcats fan, you know it can't be arrogance speaking, but I'm not even remotely anxious about the announcement...it's a done deal. There's just not an argument to put someone else in that would take his place. I mean, really, Chris Gatling, Dana Barros, and Christian Laettner (among other zeroes) have made an All Star appearance.....Gerald's in easy.

Anybody think Stephen Jackson has a shot? He is fourth in scoring in the East amongst all guards behind Wade, Arenas, & Joe Johnson and we all know one of those aint getting an invite.

Of course he does have his past reputation on his resume that he will never be able to fully shake off.

If Johnson had been a starter instead of Iverson (and should have been, if fans had half a brain), I'd say Jack had a shot, especially with Mo Williams out a month...all i can hope is Iverson doesn't play now because of injury.

if gerald doesnt make the all star team i will be in dallas protesting the game with unflattering signs. but he will so im not worried. every espn analyst i heard talk about gerald says he is a garuntee all star and its a shame if he doesnt make it. and i know he is in talks of defensive player of year. even tho its only midway, i cant see him slowing down barring injury. jaxson couldve have made it if he was here since day 1. we'd have a better record, and would give more time for notice.
