Marc Stein's take:

Forwards: Gerald Wallace (Charlotte) and Josh Smith (Atlanta)

This much is clear: Charlotte has to have an All-Star for the first time. Has to. The problem is picking between Wallace and newcomer Stephen Jackson, whom Wallace himself credits as a chief spark (see Box 4) in Charlotte's most successful half-season in franchise history. Wallace, though, makes it tough -- even for this longtime Jack fan -- to give the spot to anyone else. Averaging 18.6 points to go with his mammoth jump from 7.8 rebounds per game in 2008-09 to 11.3 boards per game, Wallace has been one of the revelations of the season.

...

The last spot, for me, came down to three: Charlotte's Jackson, Chicago's Derrick Rose with a late push (ahead of teammate Joakim Noah in the race to be the Bulls' first All-Star since Michael Jordan in 1998) and New York's Lee. Give me another day and I'm fairly sure I'd find a way to squeeze both Jackson and Wallace in from the Bobcats.

If this is the reserves . Wallace and the Bobcats just took the biggest screwing . Its no damn way Lewis is better than either Wallace or Jax

I think this was last year's reserves. Although I did see a report on RealGM that said Zach Randolph had made it in on the Western side.

yeah thats definitely last years list. All I want is Wallace to be there. Having 2 all stars would be crazy but I'd put that at about 2% chance.

Nelson player ranking of 181 . At 12 points and 4.6 assist a game . Felton post better
O neal ranking of 116 11 ppg
R Lewis ranking 131 14 ppg 5 boards
Pierce ranking 57 18.9 ppg 4.8 boards
J Johnson ranking 31 21ppg
Bosh Ranking 2
Harris ranking 142 15 ppg 5.8 assist off the NETS

Wallace ranking 15th 18.6 PPG 11 BOARDS . Only Bosh deserves to be a reserve more than Wallace

How in the hell did Harris , Nelson, Lewis make it .

Read the beginning of the second paragraph,it says this.

"O’Neal, 36, was one of seven Western reserves chosen by the NBA’s coaches."

Shaq is 37 and of course he plays in the East. Its from last year,Wallace hasn't gotten screwed yet.
