two things

I seriously seriously doubt it, but is there a slight possibility of us throw our hats in the Amare sweepstakes. Amare for Tyson and Diop. lol don't laugh. Diaw and the Suns probably won't work again. He could play center for us, right.

The espn simulator had our chances of winning last night at about 22%. lol

oh yeah, didn't MJ say something about JD night being a starter in this league. Why did we trade him again, the way we jack up shots, we could have used his top 3pt % on the team.

I do not want Amare unless hes going to resign with the Bobcats this summer.

But that's not gonna happen,so the Suns can keep him.

Jordan said Duds was a 8th/9th rotation player.

He has such a keen eye for talent don'tcha know.

The only way I'd want Amare would be for a salary dump. I do NOT want him on this team with a 6 year max contract. IMO he's nowhere near worth that...but he'll most likely get it. Last I read 8 teams have max space this summer and most likely at least 1 if not 2 of the big 3 will stay put with a chance of all 3 staying with their current team.

That means guys like David Lee, Joe Johnson, Amare will all most likely get extremely overpaid.

There's also like 20 teams (including those 8 ) that will have significant space but not max space. That's also why Felton...who it appears will be the best FA PG on the market this summer...will also likely get paid.

I like Amare. He's a good scorer, decent rebounder, but he's a crap defender. I don't think he'll be worth the amount the Bobcats would have to pay him to retain him. Amare wouldn't do so well in our more stagnant offense than Sun's Run and Gun. I don't think Suns would take Diop's contract off our hands.

Congrats to Duds . Hes a tough , smart , player who has devoloped a nice jumper. With Wallace and Jack he would be burried on our beanch . Hes in the the right spot to have a very good carer . We all knew he could play when he was hear.
Amare is over hyped and has passed his best playing days though hes not that old. It would be a good idea for the Suns to trade him now with his value still high. Who ever signs him will pay way to much and won't see as much production in the coming years.

I know that Amare is not really that good defensively. I rather have say Chris Bosh anyday. But with all things considered, trading Amare for Tyson and Diop would not be considered close to equal for us. Even at worse, he not resigning and we wash ourselves of Tyson and Diop's contracts with the possibility of regaining cap space. We still gave try and sign Raymond.

Agreed that Bosh would be better. Amare would be nice for the rest of the year but he and LB would clash. He has no heart on the defensive end and only cares when he has the ball. Dudley was nice since his days at B.C. I wish we could've kept him as he would be a very good upgrade over Graham.

Hendo and Chandler for Al Jefferson would be great

Who does Amare want to play for? Where does he want to go? Is it all about the money?

I think he has talked about landing with the nets. The possibility of getting him is exciting but I have several reservations and the more I think about it he wouldn't be that great a fit for the bobcats.

He has always played in the suns system so his numbers are likely slightly inflated. He doesn't play lock down d and he hardly rebounds. Most of his scoring happens close to the bucket and teams already pack it in on us. He has had two major injuries, the microfracture and the eye thing. The smart move is likely to take a pass.

Maybe if we can dump chandler and diop we do it for salary reasons but it will be hard unless Ajinca is ready to come contribute. Hard to believe the suns won't get an offer they like a little better though.

Dudley is great however. He makes great decisions at both ends of the floor and does some things that don't show up in the stat sheet. He is a nice utility player off the bench. I think giving him up in that deal was a mistake.

I would take Chandler on one foot before I took Amare.

Miami Heat's Jermaine O'Neal could be dealt for Amare Stoudemire (http://www.miamiherald.com/sports/story/1450113.html)

Only thing I don't like about this is that it gives Chicago better odds of landing Bosh.
