It could be possible to do a trade involving David Lee? Diaw for Lee? Just a suggestion please don't bash me.

Man, David Lee is BYC and it's almost impossible to trade him. Try with whatever trade machine you like.
Nah, Lee is probably the only player on the Knick's list of "Do Not Trade Players".

It would be nice to have him. Maybe Murphy since he's involve with trade rumors.

Bash you? Y would we? lol.....Please give us Lee for Diaw! Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Pacers seem to want half a franchise for Murphy...I think he is out of the question for us...

They need a starting white player in return
I'd try Diaw, Henderson, and 2 2nds.
We traded Vlad for Jax teej...we have "no one" they'd want...ROFLMAO...
I've read what they were asking from the Cavs and they want too much period...Murphy has had his injury problems also...

The Pacers wanted the Cavaliers to give up JJ Hickson, Zydrunas Ilgauskas and multiple draft picks for Troy Murphy, according to the Indianapolis Star
That's a lot.
On another note...it looks like ORL might help the Bulls out by taking Salmons for Redick. This would give them enough room next season for 1 max FA.
Bastards.
Will help the Bulls push us for #5...damned Magic...I hate that team even more...

How in the world does Redick make them a contender for our spot? If anything, it makes Orlando much better

I think Redick would help them...Rose needs a 3 pt threat.
To me tho the bigger implication is that extra space allowing them to go after Bosh/Flash/etc.
swedd...they are in desperate need of a 3pt shooter...and JJ can do that for them...it will definitely (IMO) make Rose that much more dangerous...and the Bulls are playing much better ball...I expect it to help them in a real area of weakness...JJ is not B> Gordon but he is a damned fine shooter...and his all-around game is much better this year...

just because he can shoot does not make them any better than they were before. This is JJ Redick we're talking about. Dude is horrible.

I remember a good 3 point shooting white guy on our team, maybe if we held onto him instead of getting someone who might successfully average 0 ppg over a season we could get someone good for him ;)

Lee is very defensive minded, he would fit right in

D. Lee, I would take him any day over Diaw. Consistent, decent defender and a double double threat. What is there not to like over Diaw's fluctuation stats. It means that most of the offense would run through Tonberry, Cpt. Jack and Saint, which could be better as we hopefully won't have Diaw's erratic passing.

Well I am and I can tell you that Redick is getting some love in the press for his improved play. Orlando is not jumping at the bit to trade JJ. JJ is no longer playing for Duke and my prejudices are not going to cloud my view of the guy as a pro. Yes for years JJ has not been as much as a pimple on the radar screen. I don't think that was ALL because he is HORRIBLE. A deadly 3pt sharpshooter is always an asset to teams. Orlando just happens to have it's fair share of guys who can do such. However JJ has refined his game enough to get playing time and has given the shooting deep Magic pause over trading him. JJ may not be a perennial ALL Star but he has the ability to make one or two AS appearances in a career that last a decent amount of time if in the right situation. Chicago might me that situation.
Either way there are a lot of solid players who add an important piece to a team that NEVER become an ALL STAR. JJ may prove that way for a solid NBA career. Based on the idiocy of people basing their ALL STAR votes on popularity contest, not being an ALL STAR really does not mean much THESE DAYS!!!

I take it you have no clue what I am. I don't give a flying fuck where he went to school. I am a Tar Heel supporter, but I give respect where it is due. He was a great college player (one of my favorites), but that doesn't mean he doesn't suck.
Sure he's a great shooter... so is every other white dude in the NBA. But dude is horrendous on defense (I see him getting burned every time I watch him), doesn't handle the ball particularly well, doesn't crash the boards, and doesn't pass the ball particularly well.
All he can do is shoot. The only reason he's getting any burn is because Vince is perpetually hurt. He's scoring 3 more ppg than his career average while playing 7 more minutes in one of the most perimeter-oriented teams. Color me unimpressed. Especially if you value him anywhere near as high as Salmons

:yeahthat: Cosign 100%. Except Kaman and Gasol are decent defenders.
LMAO Swedd you should do debate if you haven't already.

Sure he will never be an All Star but I bet with the right team he would be quite a bit better. Most shooting white guys don't play D so that really means nothing to me. JJ can still be a solid contributer given the right situation. I am not saying the Bobcats are that situation but I think JJ has been misused or under used up to this point in his career. Y'all talk about Gerald Henderson not getting burn and that is a problem. JJ has finally got a little burn for the first time in his career. What you are seeing from him is basically his being a rookie this year. If the guy finds a team that truly wants or needs what he can offer, "which is pure shooting skills," he will do much better. I say he can average 12 to 14 points a game off the bench with reasonable minutes. We will just have to agree to disagree on the guy.
I know he will never be an All Star but he sure as hell could be a solid contributor to the right team imo.

Lee doesn't want to be traded. He knows that D'antoni's system is the only one that allows him to put up his numbers, and this will guarantee him a big contract in the summer. He wouldn't average more than 10/4 on any other team, plus he doesn't box out and he plays absolutely zero defense.
Don't get blinded by his 11 rebound per game. The reason for his more or less impressive stats is because no one on that Knicks team can rebound or box out. I mean, just look at their starting PF's rebounding numbers: 4.3
Boris would average 22/12/8 on the Knicks.
