Already reeling from a spate of injuries to key players, the Boston Celtics may have lost All-Star forward Paul Pierce for a significant period of time to a broken left foot, according to a league source.

Josh Smith gets in first.

Wow, didn't he finish playing the entire game with that? It'd be nice to get Jack in there but I don't think they'll show us that much love.

I wish we could vote him in ourselves, lol. His stats are better than Josh Smith, but I think they'll give Smith the spot b/c ATL is better record-wise.

Unlikely...Lee probably goes in BEFORE Smith and Jack.....sadly

I don't see there being 3 centers...then again, it is hard to see 3 Hawks...

Maybe it's me, but I have a hard time justifying 3 Hawks(especially Horford who never should have been there in the first place)....it SHOULD be between Lee and Jack, but sadly it'll end up being most likely Smith or Lee...

Only reason Lee even has a shot is because he plays in New York, but their record will hurt him. If we do well this week, it could help Jack a lot, and since Smith is also a "questionable" character, that helps Jack.

Maybe it'll be someone totally different?

Jax is as good a guess as anyone at this point...I think it comes down to Jax and Lee...

Remember David Stern is choosing, and he doesn't want the Malace in the Palace playing in his ASG.

true...but that was a while back...and Artest got the brunt...I still think it will be Jax or Lee...just a hunch...

We are becoming more of a glamorous team as far the media goes....I would also see Antawn Jamison as the dark horse here - the guy has put up all-star numbers and has shown more character than ever in the Arenas mess. History says Stern will pick Ray Allen, and as much as I love Ray he does not merit a pick this year, especially over Jack, Lee & Josh Smith. Horford over Smith still baffles me. Joakim Noah might be another sleeper here.

Sorry guys, ESPN is reporting that Pierce is only "day-to-day with a strained foot." He'll be in the all-star game.

yep...appears to be a "walking" injury so he'll probably be there...

I would think they'd maybe squeeze by and get another Cav in there before getting another hawk ;)

who on the cavs is even close to as good as josh smith? josh smith is the next most deserving in the east by a mile.
