It according to Bonnell, Geralds strained hamstring that he has been dealing with for much of the season has now been upgraded to a pulled hamstring and hes in pretty significant pain. FML. He's a GTD tonight. Knowing him he will wanna play. But knowing Larry he won't let him play. Dang this makes our chances of beating the Lakers tonight very slim. Flip will start if Gerald can't. Flip would either have to guard Kobe or Artest. Flip can;t guard Coby Karl let alone Kobe Bryant. Please God cure Geralds hammy

Who thinks Gerald will pull a Raymond and "forget" his suit?

I sure hope he does. And I was thinking that Raymond would actually guard Kobe before Flip would. He's done that in the past.

i wouldn't mind if he sat this one out....a strained hamstring is nothing to mess with

Well, isnt this just great, now I have to hear from all my casual, trendy, bandwagon Lakers "fans" friends tonight....They're worse than Cowboy fans...

I don't know if there's anything worse than Cowboy fans.

Bonnell said there was a "serious" chance that he will not play. i consider serious chances about an 80 percent chance. We will find out soon enough

The worst fans of all that I've had the (dis)pleasure of running into in the halls of TWCA/BCA would be the pacers fans, but I think thats be cause every time I've been there we've handed them their own bloody towels to go home with :)

I'd rather have him sit one game rather than risk (many games) and our play-off run...hamstring pulls are serious...

Who will start then I wonder. Probably Flip, as much as I would love to see UPS start at 3.

When I went to the home game vs the Lakers last year and saw about 6000 Lakers jerseys it forever put a sour taste in my mouth regarding those casual, trendy pricks who wanted to come in our arena and chant MVP when punk ass Kobe Bryant was on the foul line

Yes, and they linger. Really, I'd rather it have been an ankle or finger or even wrist injury than hammy. Only thing that cures it is rest and lots of it.

As an aside, Gerald better not even think of doing that slamdunk thing All Star weekend. I thought it was a bad idea to begin with, but with a hammy injury....I mean come on. Please, Gerald; you're an All Star; you'll be there for the big game now; no need to do this; PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!
