View Full Version : Good -vs- Evil: Charlotte Bobcats -vs- New Orleans Hornets 2/6

Through the annals of history there have been many occasions where the forces of good have come face to face with pure evil.

For example Superman -vs- Bizarro
http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w301/bobcatsplanet/Superman__Bizarro.jpg

Bugs Bunny -vs- Elmer Fudd
http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w301/bobcatsplanet/597.jpg

Atsushi Onito -vs- Terry Funk
http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w301/bobcatsplanet/OnitaFunk121196.jpg

The city of Baltimore -vs- Marlo Stanfield
http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w301/bobcatsplanet/marlo-713598.jpg

Gentlemen... It is our time to step up and come face to face with pure evil. Saturday night The New Orleans Hornets and George Shinn come to town to face the Bobcats
http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w301/bobcatsplanet/gerogeshinn.jpg
Don't let the sissified hat that his little 5'4" punk ass is wearing fool you... This man is pure evil and he and his team must be defeated Saturday night.

So, whats it going to be people? Will good win, or will the evildoers win?

No CP3 = 'Cats Victory

Think Shinn will be in the arena that Charlotte wouldn't build for him? Maybe wearing that headband from the last Charlotte Hornets "band together" playoff run?

I went down to NO for the Panthers game this year. Went to see Toronto crush the Hornets on Friday night in the New Orleans Arena. Wore my Panthers Jersey and was yelling "Get your own Mascot" all night long.

F the Hornets.

Fuck George Shinn.

Fuck Shinn again.

Hell, he can get it a third time.

And while we're at it: Emeka, tell us how the playoffs look...oh, wait. We're the ones going there BITCH!

We better win this. I don't care if we lose 5 in a row after, this is the one game we HAVE to win.

They have the advantage with PF+C, but we have the advantage on PG, SG and SF. I really hope we blow out the Hornets.

EO50 looking aggressive though - which was nice to see (and something we didn't see enough of in Charlotte!!)

With the cap dropping to the low/mid 50s I certainly do. We're talking 5 million difference next season in and either or. Together we'd be looking at being around 5 million over the cap with 11 players.

With the financial landscape you absolutely have to take salary vs production into account.

Wow great job so far by Nazr, DJ, and Diaw. Diaw may not be shooting well from the field, but he's getting to the line and hitting those shots. Nazr has just been really impressive. DJ shooting well too...

Okafor is going to see the ball more, him and David West now that Paul is out and can't score, nor can Thorton...that's over 30 points missing, so I expect Okafor to get chances with ball that he never got in Charlotte...I really don't miss him that much as its allowed Wallace and Nazr to emerge even more

But TC's expiring next year.

It's a catch 22. I'd love to have Okafor, and I don't blame him at all for getting everything he could salarywise. I knew when we gave him that contract that we'd end up trading him (same thing we'll do with Felton if he gets retail).

We just can't afford him.

Yeah, but I agree a bit with Ohara. I think Nazr does have something to prove. There's got to be some personal satisfaction about about outplaying the former big contract starter while the current big contract starter watches from the bench.

I don't think Nazr's petty. I just think he's a guy with a lot of pride. And good for him!

He had nothing to prove against the Lakers and dominated that game.

He's been playing this well all season when given a chance.

I doubt Nazzy feels he has anything to prove against EO50.

I think TC would have if he had of played (which is why I think he didn't end up playing), but not Nazzy.

I wouldn't have thought so. It wasn't like EO50 was brought in and took Nazzy's starting spot away from him. EO50 was already here and an established starter. Nazzy was always brought in as a back up - and he knows it.

I'm sick of LB stunting the development of our team with the lack of playing time for our other players.
I'm sick of him playing Diaw when Diaw is one of his slump modes and giving him large ass minutes.
I'm sick of him blaming the PLAYERS when he's the one at fault. I understand how hard it would be for Diaw to guard an all-star PF and Okafor, both bigger and taller than him. Therefore I'm sick of him shifting the blame to others.

Maybe I'm just overreacting, but I'm pissed as hell that we lost that friggin game. I wouldn't even call it a game from the second half. Taking out Nazzy, seriously.

Felton & Jax were "under the weather" per LB...which explains why DJ got to play the entire 2nd quarter (1st time I remember). Combine that with Crash's hammy and the 1st game back from the road trip it's not all that shocking that we dropped this game.

Not playing Nazr in the 4 after such a great game by him is still confusing.

I tweeted Stephanie Ready (follow me@ jdevolve1180)and asked was there any reason Derrick Brown wasn't playing and had no idea. were about 8 rows back and at the end of the game I yelled as loud as I could "TRADE BORIS DIAW".....last night was one of the worst coached games I've ever seen by LB, this one hurts bad, no excuse for not winning this one.
