View Full Version : Rotation for rest of season/Tyrus thomas
So whats the rotation for the rest of the way now after the trades?
Mohammed (22)/Chandler (20)/Ratliff (6)
Thomas (30)/Diaw (18 )
Wallace (36)/Diaw (12)
Jackson (34)/Graham (10)/Augustin (4)
Felton (36) /Augustin (12)
???
I would guess that Tyrus will get around 30 mpg, or is that an overestimate do you think?
Stats something like...30mpg, 11ppg, 7.5rpg, 2bpg, 1.7spg ??
With chicago this season, in 23mpg he avgd 8.8/6.3/1.7/1.4

I think we could see more Diaw at SF and giving more playing time to Brown and Ratliff at PF. Hopefully Henderson sees more time at SG, but sadly I expect DJ to see more time...
Wouldn't be surprised if at times we see Diaw all the way up to SG off the bench at times either...

Mohammed/Chandler/Ratliff
Thomas/Diaw
Wallace/Diaw
Jackson/Graham/Augustin
Felton/Augustin
^This only has 10 active players, though LB tends to have 8 player rotations.
Here's my thoughts. Bold signifies 8 player rotation, Italics signifies active 12 man roster.
Ray/DJ/(Insert PG, possibly Mike James)
Jack/DJ/Stevie/Henderson
Crash/Diaw/UPS/Stevie
Diaw/Ty/UPS
Nazzy/Chandler/Theo/Lexy

I think this is going to be our most used lineup and likely our best lineup.
Felton
Jackson
Wallace
Thomas
Diaw
Naz will continue to get his minutes but he doesn't play the whole game. Diop is going to miss some time right away and I don't expect him to play a lot when he comes back. Chandler may give us something by the time the playoffs come around but we can't count on him. Thomas is basicly going to come in and do what we hoped Chandler could do, protect the rim.

Stop joking around.
We all know how LB uses his rotation.
Approx:
Felton (40) / DJ (10)
Jax (40) / Graham (9) / Hendo (DNP-1)
Wallace (45) / UPS (5)
Diaw (35) / Thomas (15)
Nazzy (20) / TC (20) / Theo (5)
Don't expect to see much of our bench. Nor do I forsee LB starting TT over Diaw.

LB should really decrease Crash's minutes to about ~34 per game. Did you guys notice how tired and exhausted he looked during the past games?
We need him at 100% for the playoffs and lil bit more burn for UPS wouldn't hurt

That's why he's not been playing as stellar as we're used to and we knew this was going to happen.
I'm liking the idea of giving Crash a few less minutes.
Crash in the 36mpg range would be nice...but I hope that the TT trade keeps "Doris" in the line-up playing better...trading "Doris" (before the draft or this summer) might be the only way we keep Ray...so I hope the trade lights a fire under his lard-butt...and makes him valuable as a trade piece...just my opinion...

I'm messing with a theory with way too little info...but maybe one of the reasons Boris played so much better last night is that having TT allows him to play more out on the perimeter. He doesn't have to bang as much underneath and he's given more freedom.
I have nothing at all to base that on...but I'm going to keep an eye on it.

That is a very astute observation.
It would make sense. Boris is very long but not at all athletic so he's not going to really rise above anyone to pull down boards where as playing outside of the heart of the key would allow him to use his reach to compete for boards and the space would allow him to double tap the ball.
TT is also very long but athletic as hell so he has an easier time of it inside.
spectre..."Doris" has pretty much lived on the perimeter all year...my observation (last night) was he actually shot and made open looks...he was under the basket about as much as he ever is/was...
