For our sorry play for the last month ?
Could it be the sale of the team ?
The addition of TT ?
The loss of Flip ?
The lack of production from the center position?

Spectre , Slam Ziggy, Tegi, Sweed, the list goes on, Just a few of the great basketball minds hear at the planet . HELP ,,,,,,,,
What is the main problem? How can it be fixed ? Will this problem keep us out of the playoffs?
I have no idea please help,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Going 12-4 in Jan isn't a true representation of our teams ability and gave a lot of people a false sense of hope.
...a combo of everything you said dav...and a little "prima ballerina" from a few guys thrown in for good measure...

1) Crash/Jax logging too many minutes
2) Crash - hamstring, Felton - 2 sprained ankles
3) Centers hurt
4) LB being a little bullheaded in his rotations
5) Losing Flip
Mainly 1 & 2 IMO.

I really think it is because Larry doesnt trust the bench since Flip left. Once we sign either Hughes, Mike James, or some other combo guard we will be back in buisness.

Expections was high do you guys still seeing us as a playoff team.
I think the Felton and Crash injery played a big part all so
Im thinking we have to win two of our next four to smell the 8th seed. After that the scedule gets much better . But we can't continue to lose against teams with bad records.
I think the TT trade will be a good move in the long run ? Thoughts
Flips beanch scoring will be missed all ready is ?
But i saw a decline in team play sence the anouncment of the teams sell. And i think if MJ don't get the team uncernty may keep us out of the playoffs .
I think the timing of the sale disterbes me most of all.

injured centers....imagine if we hadn't traded for Theo

The return of Chandler + west coast road trip= slump
dav...timing of the sale (probably) could not have been worse...and I think since MJ (from reports) is having a difficult time putting a group together is causing concern for everyone in the organization...
Injuries...coupled with Flip leaving (lack of trust from LB in the bench) probably have had more impact though...I still think the impending sale probably has a bigger impact (distraction) on the FO and coaching staff rather than the players...

At least on the offensive end recently, I think that teams have shifted their focus to doubling Jax and/or Crash much more. As a team, we're not sure how to react to that. Really, that hasn't been an issue before. Once they become more comfortable as a group with attacking a defense that doubles, things will go on the upswing there.

I do dav, we just have to have some things fall our way.
- We have to remain healthy because our depth is questionable.
- We need two of either Felts, Jax or Crash show up to every game (not just one of the three) and a surprise contributor (like DJ, T2, Nazzy etc).
- LB needs to be a little more flexible with his rotations and willing to yank a guy who is not getting it done.
- We need to sign a Hughes/James type to solidify what we have.
We have a pretty nice schedule in March. I think by March 15th we'll know if we are a playoff bound team.

I think the confidence that they gained in January may have been too much too soon. After that stretch of phenomenal basketball I believe that they started reading the press clippings and began coasting.
I don't know what it's going to take to get back to something resembling that level of play.

The main thing is we are not attacking on the Defensive end. We are playing this lets all go to the paint and make them beat us with jump shots and it is not working. If we turned up the pressure of our D three notches and got easy baskets off turnovers like the Nuggets do that would go a long way.
On the other end we don't look well coached to me. This might be partly the addition of some new pieces. We are lacking shooters with DJ in a big slump and ray going 2-8 or something every third night. Jack has been inconsistent and turns the ball over to much. The play of Nazr, who has been one of our best players all year, dropping off due to injury really hurt. I also think the minutes played by some of our main guys is catching up a bit. Really its a combination of all those things.
