Hell is TT keps this up and we keep him maybe he will be someday

I love GW like any self respecting true Bobcats fan should and I dropped $160 on his new Jersey when they got them in a few weeks ago but I really think JAX has turned into our true All Star. I am glad we have both and if we had a center playing now I think we would be doing OK over the last few weeks vs this horrific losing streak. Hopefully Nazzy will come back soon - TT will keep his minutes between Diaw and Nazzy and we can get back to business

Having said all of that if JAX did not come to us GW would not have even sniffed the All Star game and I think we would be lucky to have 20 wins at this point. He enables GW to have some of the games he has had and stretches the floor for us. Sure he is streak and at time inefficient but to me he is our MVP at this point

I am a BIG GW fan but I think SJAX is our real all star. TT needs to get signed this summer - HUGE upside. He is our GW when GW gets old

kinda difficult for me to say since the season is not over...but Crash has been solid all season...

Without a doubt I would have to give the nod to Tyson Chandler. Man he helped our team win a lot this year and I shiver to think the team without him.

Jack this year, Larry Brown for getting us in playoff contention, and GW for the entire franchise history.

I agree with all of that except for franchise MVP. That's gotta be Jeff McInnis.

No doubt its our leading scorer and team leader JAX. Before he got here we struggled to score 80 points in a game. He's stepped up big all year and has been our most consistent player.

I gotta go with Jax as well. Gerald has been great, but having a true offensive star is the element we've been missing our entire existence and he has provided that. His toughness and swagger is infectious. I don't think that in any way minimizes what Gerald has done this year though. Without both of them having the years they've had we don't sniff the playoffs, but I'd give the nod to Jax by a slim margin.

As much as I love Crash, I gotta give it up to Jax. Now we can acctualy score more then 80 points a game. Not to metion how Jax and Crash have played off of each other all year.

It has to be Gerald......Jack can get 30 every night but that doesn't mean we win. If Gearld scores 30 and has 10 rebs in 10 games, we win at least 7...

Actually, the Bobcats have the exact same winning percentage for both of those scenarios - 67%.

o well nice find.......but my point was that Gerald has more of an effect on our winning and losing than Jack imo

The inverse is much more applicable in this case.

The Bobcats weren't exactly winning before Jack arrived.

The Bobcats weren't exactly winning before Jack arrived. Yeah, my hetero love for GW knows no bounds, but Jack is our MVP...easily, IMO.

Much more applicable only because you've never seen the team without Gerald Wallace. The Bobcats weren't exactly winning before whenever Gerald got hurt.

I don't doubt that, either.

This team is dependent on Jack and GW to a dangerous degree.

...exactly...last year (after the injury we dropped by the way-side) no Crash=no play-offs...but I'd rather not see it happen this year so it becomes an apples and oranges debate...Jax was not here last year so unless (please no) Crash gets injured it is moot in my point...

We are a better team with Crash and Jackson...

The way this team is playing right now, I am starting to think Nazr is our MVP.

Sounds right, besides Ratliff it seems like he's the only Center who can play.

Nazr is our Most Important Player, but Jack is our Most Valuable Player.

Subtle but important difference.

And if we could find a damn perimeter defender, they'd become the second most important player.

BS. Wallace is our MVP. We cannot win when he plays badly, which has been a while now. He does more than Jackson. Jackson is a big upgrade over an injured Bell and Graham.

See: Start of season

See: Memphis game, 2/26
See: Minnesota game, 2/10
See: Houston game, 1/10

Without GW, we can still win with Jack.

Without Jack, we're royally fucked.

And looking at the stats, when one is bad, both tend to be bad.
