My wife and I have Front Court Club tix to the game on Friday.
We've never sat in those seats before.
Anyone ate at the Front Court Club restaurant?
What kind of food do they serve?
Would you recommend we eat there or have a nice dinner outside the arena before the game?
If outside, any close restaurants you can recommend?
Sorry for all the questions. Just trying to show my wife to a nice time on Friday.

Unless they've changed, it's one of the Top 5 restaurants in Charlotte. Better than Ruth's Chris. It's a buffet, they have mostly steak, chicken or fish type and a salad bar, but sometimes it'll be theme nights, where all the food except maybe one line is based on the theme. But trust me, it's well worth it. I don't know if they still have the in-seat servers with the budget cuts, so it might be totally self serve now, but based on the last time I was up there, you'll have a server who will get you drinks (IIRC sodas and stuff are free with dinner, liquor is a la carte), they have people who cut you the meat like at a country club, and you serve yourself from the other parts of the buffet. The server also takes care of any dessert you may want. I don't know how your ticket works, but the dessert is for sure extra, idk how much dinner is now or if it's all with the ticket still.
You also have access to both club lounges and you can enter via the VIP entrance, which is near the lowe's home court STH entrance but separate. It's an awesome experience, and I think, not sure but I think, you'll have a TV at your seat. That might just be the Royal Boxes and not FCC though.
Last time I went was when the Ham Biscuit was coaching, so things may have changed, and if you're banking on my word, I'd call the team to check. But I'm fairly certain most of it's the same.

Dude, you gotta get out and eat more.
For a buffet, its pretty good. I'll leave it at that.

What's so much better?
I've got it behind Capital Grille, Chima, and Carpe Diem that I've been to. Maybe I just lucked out, but it was pretty good.

It okay; but not at all worth the $30+ each they'll charge you (and THAT's w/o alcohol; I wouldn't dare). I've gone 3 times in 3 years on comps and would never actually pay to eat there. The service is good though. The wait staff is very friendly and eager to help; they need to be since tips at a buffet are probably marginal. Of course, their tip adds to the $30+.
It's a nice enough buffet, but nothing too special. The same food service that runs the concessions runs the restaurant I think; at least the turkey tastes the same as the sandwich you can get by the food court.
Really, its average and way over-priced.
To my knowledge, there are no tv's at your seat in the restaurant. I think there's some on the concourse outside the restaurant though; but that's not frontcourt seating.

The food there is good enough to make it your place for dinner firday night considering it will be free for you as you have the seats for it. It's not a top 5 place but it is more than adequate

If you like Japanese; try Enso at the EpiCentre. Their sushi bar is totally excellant.

If bbh has FrontCourt Club seats, that's the old Club Vue. That's not the restaurant, just the dinner from the seat comes from that buffet. All we had to pay for with that was dessert, extra drinks, and tip. Food came with the ticket. Unless that's changed...
And apparently I'm the only one who liked the food

Guys...I have "Front Court" seats. Says so on my ticket and they're not the seats outside the restaurant; they're on the floor.
But if you have free comp tickets for the restaurant, then by all means go for it. But to my knowledge, frontcourt seats don't mean free dinner. It means you have the right to pay to go eat at the restaurant.
Not sure otherwise.

thanks for all the info guys.
last set of questions (maybe).
my tix are sec 105, row n, seats 13 and 14. i'm assuming, based on your feedback, that the front court club buffet is not included with my tix.
i've called guest services at the arena twice. one person told me my tix did include it, and another person told me it was not included.
anyways, i'm leaning on eating outside the arena before the game. i really would rather not pay $30 for a buffet.
so on that note, if i'm entering the executive (vip) entrance off of 5th street,
where should i park?
and
where could i walk to have a nice dinner before the game?
thanks again for all the help guys. i'm trying to show my wife a great time so maybe we can start going to more games. i'm sick of watching the games on a crappy internet feed.
we live 2 hours away in sanford, but if my wife has fun, i can talk her into going to more games.

My tix are in 105 I and we don't get free dinner so I'd agree with your conclusion.
If you want something nice, Capital Grille is an option, albeit not a cheap one. You could go to a few places in the Epicenter. Someone mentioned Enso which is a great idea. Great sushi and not as expensive some of the other sushi places around.
You could try Dandelion Market which just opened and is good tapas. Thai Basil is a good spot too.
If you want something a little more low key, Brixx for pizza is always a good idea and NIX for burgers is a good spot.
All are within easy walking distance of the stadium.

Okay, I think that's just regular Club seating, you have access to the lounges and such, but no free dinner. The dinner comes with seats in R1-R4.

I'd park in the parking deck on 5th right at the arena where the lynx line comes up. It's the shortest walk of any parking garage and is pretty safe.
And dinner, that all depends on your price range, but Capital Grille or Ruth's Chris are good choices.
