View Full Version : Bosh to Sac Town? "Hell no!"
This tweet made my night:

Classic moment...heading to time out...Fan screams to Bosh..."You coming to Sacramento next Year?"...Bosh looks his way and says "Hell no"!
No love for Sac Town, even with Evans.
That's about as bad as when a friend of mine road an elevator with Bill Cowher and asked him if he'd want to coach the Browns. Cowher responded with, "Even I can't save them."

Hahahaaha!
Derek Anderson agrees.
And I love CB4 saying it, I hope he doesn't get in trouble for it. And that's our old friend Matt Devlin too I do believe.

That is utterly hilarious. Only good thing going for Sacramento is Landry and Evans. Landry is a good enough starting PF (19/9 or something) so no real need for them to pay biggg money to get Bosh.
Here's a small article about the incident.

Funny quote by Jarret Jack too:
The same fan continued his inquires into the third quarter, which eventually elicited a reply from Jack.
"Ain’t nobody coming here," Jack said. "Nobody even knows it’s in California."

O yeah, the only thing going for Sacramento is Tyreke Evans and Landry... completely disregard the fact we have another top 10 pick, possibly top 5, pick coming this summer, as well as the rest of our core team in Beno Udrih, Francisco Garcia, Jason Thompson, Donte Greene, Omri Casspi, and Spencer Hawes who are 26,26, 23, 22, 22, and 21 respectively. Two of them are solid sixth men and the rest have gobs of potential. And on top of all that we have as much as 20+ million in cap space coming to us this summer. You guys are playing pretty well this year but unless you find a way to grab a franchise player draft pick or a Chris Bosh for yourself your going to be looking up at the Kings in a year or two.

You're signing up on a Bobcats forum to talk about how good the Kings are? Not the best start.
Tyreke, Landry, and Omri is a good core. JT is a role player at best, Hawes got benched, Udrih isn't going places, Garcia's solid, and Greene is a great athlete who might be a good player at some point.
But LeBron, Wade, Bosh, etc. aren't signing in Sacramento, so that cap space only does you good if Geoff Petrie can keep away from Joe Johnson or Amare and use it for solid building blocks.
Oh, and you signed Sean May. What else needs to be said.

I'm not signing up to talk about how good the Kings are... I'm signing up to quell some of the ridiculous hate going on. Just google "Bosh Hell No". Thats how I found this forum and people who are trashing the Kings saying we have nothing going for us. You guys would easily kick our asses this year, I'm not denying it. I'm not ashamed of it either! Were the 2nd youngest team in the league with the youngest starters in the league. And calling Jt a role player and saying Hawes was "benched" illustrates exactly what I'm talking about? How many other big men at 21 and 23 in their 3rd and 2nd seasons in the NBA put up their kind of numbers and get labeled as role players?
Al Horfords 2nd season in the NBA - 11.5 ppg 9.3 rpg
Thompsons 2nd and current - 12.5 rpg 8.6 rpg
Yet how many times was Horford labeled as a role player? I hear Thompson labeled that constantly. As far as the Sean May thing goes... we signed him for a 1 year contract... he sucks but he's hardly what I would call a bad move by our FO. Anyways... I'm done sharing what I think. There are other places I need to stop the ignorance.

How could we forget Sean May too? Anyways the Kings could be the next OKC Thunder in a few years. I don't see them competing for playoffs next year, but give them 2-3 years and they can be a very good team. I loved Jason Thompson and wish Charlotte could have gotten him when he was briefly on the trading block. I just don't see Sacramento as a team that is going to land a huge free agent though.

Not a Kings fan, but I mostly agree with Kings Faithful
Lots of youth, potential, and capspace.
I'm not hating on Sac Town, hell I used to live in northern California, I simply pointed out a really funny incident in the NBA. Evans is a stud, so is Landry, and the majority of us were salivating at the thought of JT when he was rumored in trade talks. If ya'll do well in the draft this year you could be like Memphis or OKC in a few years.

I think if the Maloof brothers wanted to move to Vegas they would have done it by now. The way the Las Vegas economy has been hurt by the recession doesn't make sense to move a team to Nevada. Plus, the demographics in Las Vegas are not one of a pro sports town. David Stern has obviously eased up on the Vegas/gambling threat with the All-Star GM last year. Its a possibility, but I don't think they will ever attract an NBA team.
