We got Clippers this morning (for me, for you guys probably night).
Clippers have always been overshadowed by their counterparts, but the Clippers have a good team.

With the Clippers, we always have to watch up and coming Eric Gordon (check out the other guy's hand lawl).

http://i.cdn.turner.com/nba/nba/media/act_eric_gordon.jpg

The All-star Chris "Baldy" Kaman
http://i.cdn.turner.com/nba/nba/media/act_chris_kaman.jpg

And as always, the professional hairy veteran Baron Davis, who's beard everyone wants.
http://i.cdn.turner.com/nba/nba/media/act_baron_davis.jpg

If we're able to shut down these three core guys, we should come away with an easy win.

I'm glad we have this guy healthy to defend against Kaman. I'm more than certain he will show up wearing pants. Not so sure about the purple shirt or the tie though. We also need his length also to stop Davis from driving:

I predict a win, 97 - 79

I'm not going to guarantee a win this time, only because I did last time we played them and we lost.

With that being said, if the bench continues to produce and Jack shows up this time we should be in good shape tonight.

Side note: I almost made tonight's game my first Bobcats game, but my dad having just traveled for the past week, didn't feel like driving up to Charlotte. I hold nothing against him, although not going to this game essentially means I won't get another chance to go to a game until next season. :(

I've missed the last three games because of work and once again I'll miss this one. I have to hope for the best with these ying & yang cats. I hope the bench keeps up it's productive streak. This should be a easy win since the Clips are the Sean May of NBA franchises.

I do too. I traded for him in NBA 2k10 and he's been a constant 20+ ppg scorer for me haha. Maybe one day he can play for the Bobcats for real.

I think it's the DIRTIEST thing a player to can do to another player.

I would rather Reggie Evans try and finger my bum than have someone under cut me like that. It's fucking cowardly - especially for someone like Davis who could NEVER block Crash on a break away like that, especially when they are this far behind in the game, especially when the game doesn't matter to them and especially considering there was only 1 sec left in the 1st half.

It's not like Crash was trying to make the game winning basket.

From the front angle, it looks like he's trying for the ball. But from the back, it's clearly a push while Crash was jumping. That's such a messed up thing to do. Then after he's called for the flagrant 1, Baron's trying to argue with the refs.

Stay classy Baron...

Remember that slump Crash had finding the hole? Last two games he's missed 2 shots out of around 19/20.

Guess he's out of that slump!

Yah, Felton is dishing very well and other guys are scoring. He's only taken 3 shots...wish he'd at least have made that 1st 3...but I've always said he thrives best when he's not having to be the main option.

Pretty much the total opposite of DJ I guess! That just makes our PG depth that much better...all sorts of ways to throw it at the opponent.

Diop will sit out Friday night's game against the Clippers, then will not travel with the team for games in Orlando and Indiana. He will undergo a medical evaluation to determine the cause of the spell.

Charlotte Bobcats extend streak, but Wallace injury a concern (http://www.charlotteobserver.com/2010/03/12/1309926/bobcats-extend-winning-streak.html)

They carted Gerald Wallace to his car Friday and as much fun as he made that for his daughter on his lap - think the tram at Disney World - this looked like trouble.

Wallace couldn't play in the second half of a 106-98 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers. He has a sprained left ankle, a sore left foot and a headache after Baron Davis took out his legs as Wallace attempted to dunk just before halftime.

"Pray," teammate Stephen Jackson (24 points) said ominously.

A night of mixed emotions for The Beagle.....

First and foremost, another win in the bag, 5th in a row, 2 games over .500, all alone in 6th, and 2.5 games up on 9th place Bulls!!!

The good: I made great time getting to the game, got there a little after 6, and when I got to my seats I noticed a certain fellow-bearded individual who I've been a big fan of since his college days. I geeked out, went down to the tunnel entrance, got a signature, got to show off my beard, and best of all, got his seal of approval and got him to laugh. Talk about being on a high...I mean, this meeting was like over 10-12 years in the making for me!!!

The bad: Of course, the fellow-bearded fellow was B Dizzle, and he hurt our Gerald on a highly questionable decision by him. I mean, that's so not like Baron to give a push in the back of a guy who is so vulnerable by going fast and hard to the rim. I can't hate him, and he's still my favorite non-Bobcat player in the league, but that was a massive massive buzzkill for me; not only to have GW out for god-knows-how-long, but for my boy, BD to be the culprit :(

Congrats for the guys to keep battling through in the 2nd half, but I was dead inside; really, I was miserable to the point I was feeling like I was watching a bad loss. I'm still so down, it's hard for me to even think of the win that we did get.

Sharing a laugh with one of my top 5 favs of all time, then have him (unintentional as it was) hurt another of my top 5 favs, but more special because he's a Bobcat....this was the true definition of a "bittersweet" night for me; that's for fucking sure....

"He was going so fast to the hole that I was just trying to cut him off," Davis said. "I had no intentions of trying to hurt him or flagrant foul somebody, especially when they're fighting for a playoff position. ... I was just trying to give a foul to stop a basket. I guess his momentum was just carrying him too fast, and I kind of misjudged it."

Sounds all well and good Baron, but I think everyone who watched that sequence knew you were pissed off Crash stole the ball from you. Even the Clips' announcers said as much.

One other thing I loved: even though we had no blocked shots, we redirected a TON of shots. If we get our other centers healthy, we'll have a ton of fresh bigs to come in and wreak havoc.

In recent news, when prompted why the Bobcats didn't record a single block while opposing Guard Rasul Butler had 3, Tyrus Thomas claimed, "Why try and block it? We knew it wasn't going to go in anyway, so we just stood there and yelled 'booga booga booga'"

Davis was way out of line with his foul on Wallace. Baron, you play for the Los Angeles "worst franchise in American sports" Clippers. You have had no chance at the playoffs since your season's tip-off. Let Crash score his layup and move on with losing the remainder of your schedule.

How this team manages to survive in the same building as the Lakers is hilarious. If it wasn't for the Clippers ability to sell tickets at the Staples Center so fans could see real NBA teams come to play, they would be relocated in a heartbeat. (If I had my way that's exactly what would happen.)

Now because B-D had the urge to show some "heart" after a turnover we may be 1-2 weeks without our franchise player.

I like the front-office's decision to bring in Larry Hughes to temporarily fill the gap. He's on the down side of an under-achieved career in my opinion. (Too many seasons with teams like the Warriors, Wizards, etc.) I think he may be able to step in and bring 10-15 per game while Crash is out.

As Stephen Jackson said after the game, "Pray". This franchise deserves a playoff berth and missing Wallace for 5-10 games out of our remaining 20 will make things too close for comfort.
