Can't wait to see how the brackets look in a few hours. Hoping my Marquette gets a decent seeding.

Wake just won a great game over Texas. It was epic.
My bracket has more red than my essays at school...

Finished up the first round with a record of 28-4.
My losses were Georgetown, Minnesota, Louisville, and Siena. How are your brackets looking?

Am I the only one who thinks Evan Turner kind of sounds like Meatwad?

Wow Kentucky lost and Butler beats Kansas State...did anyone have Butler in the final 4? Think about this, the final four could be Baylor, West Virginia, Tennessee, and Butler...who would have thought that? I'm still pulling for my Dukies though!

I'd prefer the former
When's the last time there was a final four without a one seed?

Also first time in the history, a Turkish player will participate in NCAA Final Four (Deniz Kılıçlı, freshman forward of West Virginia) :)

The final four is set
(5) Michigan State vs (5) Butler
(2) West Virginia vs (1) Duke
I love Duke, but West Virginia beat a very good Kentucky team and I'm worried they could shut down the big three. I think Butler's run is over and it'll be Izzo vs. Huggins...I'm hoping Coach K can prevent that and bring the National Championship back home to NC, this time to Durham!

Butler's run? They are not a cinderella. They were preseason top 10 in the polls and have made the tournament 7/10 years, including 3 sweet 16's. Come on, give them a little more credit than that. They should be favored over a weak msu team after taking out cuse and ksu. Let's not forget that this is a home game for Butler too, 5 miles from campus.
What a game. Holy cow. Gordon Hayward, man, that was CLOSE! Congrats to Duke, you earned it and then some.
Though I hope Zoubek is run over by a train.

Idk man ESPN generally loves Duke, but even they showed dismay at how insanely easy their draw was. They had by far the easiest path to the championship, only playing 1.5 teams of real value.
The WVU game was close and they didn't really blow it open until (by far) the best player on either team tore his ACL. imagine how much of a morale blow that had to of been for the Mountain men.
They did beat a tough Butler team but, let's be honest, they weren't the other best team in the country. They have a solid, tough team and Hayward is going to be a great NBA player someday, but that was their first time being that far EVER. They had not only the pressure to win at home and for their fans, but also the pressure of every little school out there. They plate admirably but were just short of pulling out the win.
Had Duke faced Kansas, Syracuse, K State, or Kentucky, I don't think they'd have won. Can't really fault them for taking advantage of their situation though so kudos. But of Duke fans acted high and mighty before, get ready for some more!

If Zoubek's homo ass wasn't in the way, Da'Sean would have played tonight...

Or, judging by that last shot, too long.

It's already started. But I gotta give it up to ex-Panther Luther Broughton:
I am gonna punch the hell out of a dook fan 2moro

As a Duke fan I am very happy with the Championship coming home to Durham. We may have had an easier bracket, but there were several elite 8 and final four teams that had very easy brackets. Butler did have a much harder bracket, but they couldn't get the job done when the final game was there.
A win is a win, a championship is a championship, no matter who you play and beat, so for that I must say...CONGRATULATION DUKE BLUE DEVILS! ACC Regular Season Champions, ACC Tournament Champions and most of all NCAA NATIONAL CHAMPIONS

Butler and Duke are both going to be strong next year. Possible rematch?
