LOL, I was thinking what the hell is snoop dog doing talking to Herb Brown on the way to the locker room. Turned out to be Gerald Wallace.

62-56 without Crash. I can't complain at all about that.

Amazing how well we've played so far, and on the road too.
Keep it up Bobcats (although we're getting killed by Howard)

Regardless of the outcome, I am proud of the guys for this effort without Crash. They could have been disheartened and played poorly. They are fighting well.

i'm really liking the way chandler and ratliff are making howard work in the paint. if you didn't know this is one of the the reasons we traded for tyson to begin with

Looking like we will match Milwaukee's 6 game winning streak. Without GForce, I didn't have high expectations.
Huge win!!

Exactly! And we keep pace with Miami also. Now, maybe the Raptors will drop one tonight for us!

Never underestimate the advantage of playing a team that just played the night before.
I felt like the Bobcats had a good chance of winning this one for that one reason alone. At some point in the game, Orlando was bound to slow down for a while.
Even if they didn't, I expected the Bobcats to play well. The only team they've played poorly against recently that was coming off a game the previous night, was Dallas, and that's because the Bobcats played like they had no brains that night.
Bobcats should win Tuesday against Indiana, but they will have to fight hard on Wednesday against OKC, because the Bobcats will be the back to back team that night.

Wow!!!!
I'd never have guessed we would take the Magic so completely out of their game like we did in the 2nd half! And without Crash!!!
I'm so proud of these guys stepping up like they did!
BIG WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thought we might have a chance if we played smart, the magic are a great team and howard is a beast in the paint but if you can keep them from hitting threes at critical times in the game they are beatable. i'm not sure they can win a title with that style of play even though it is fun to watch

This might be my favorite win of the year because it was Sans-Wallace.
Not say getting rid of Wallace is a valid option, but beating a top notch team without our best player really speaks to the quality we have in our depth. I cant wait to see what Larry Hughes will add to this.

Can't agree more with you. Stephen Jackson drops 28 and the rest of the team filled in the gaps.
As a side note, originally from the California Bay Area growing up watching the Warriors , the Jackson trade was a tremendous move by the Bobcats. Didn't give up much with Radmonovich and they picked up a premier scorer.
Only thing the franchise has to worry about with Jacks is keeping him happy. He had a terrible attitude with the Warriors (who could blame him with that management, although you have to act mature) and was run out of Indiana after the Artest brawl. I have a feeling he's learned from the past and we won't see any of that here in Charlotte.
Focusing on tonight, I'm extremely proud of the team. The Wallace injury report looks good and the team keeps chugging towards the playoffs.

JAX!!!
Jax proved his worth tonight putting up 28 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists even with G-Force's absence. To help lead this team over Orlando in their house is a HUGE win. GO GO BOBCATS!!!

This was a good and unexpected win. On the best of days even with Crash the Magic usually hand us our heads, so to get this win today is just extraordinary.

I didn't get to see the game, but I must say I was shocked when I saw the score and saw we won. I really was not expecting a win at all, definitely without Wallace. Miami and Milwaukee won, but Toronto is down by 11 at half. If they can lose that furthers our race from 8th and 9th
When Jack made that wild, impossible looking fade away late in the game over Pietrius, I knew we had this game. Great effort by the whole team, especially stepping up in Wallace's absence.
Lets keep it up!!!!

Key phrase from the game tonight: Make love to pressure.
As is only natural, Jack was at the forefront of the love-making, but the whole team not only accepted pressure, but thrived from in it. The Boris and Jack 2-man show going on the last 4 or so minutes was so awesome to watch: each feeding the other in positions for easy baskets; I just love watching the new and improved Boris since the Tyrus acquisition....bringing back the memories of last year a little bit.
Though he had some butterfingers a little, Raymond also came through huge, as he and Tyson defended the pick 'n roll in textbook fashion yet again. Memo to the league: We're starting to figure this pick 'n roll thing out, so start working on something else!
Stevie with a fabulous job filling in for GW and then there's Theo....Wow! The old warhorse is such a factor on interior defense it blows my mind. Sure Dwight had his 20-something points, but nobody else was getting anything at the rim on Theo, and if they did, it was dumb luck. I loved it when we picked him up, but I had no clue how big he'd be playing for us down the stretch...dude's only been here 3 or so weeks and he's already the best 5 this franchise has EVER had! Sorry, Mek, but it's true.
Even Tyrus, who imploded toward the end with a dumb shot and dumb pass on consecutive possessions made 2 huge plays: the steal from Dwight off a rebound and dunk, and outreaching and outfighting ORL for a loose ball rebound late in the 4th that kept them from a second chance. I remember thinking when that play happened, how no Bobcat (maybe Hollins) could've made that play ever with the combination of length, athleticism and speed needed to get the ball from Dwight and either Bass or Pietrus. It's one of those plays it's easy to forget, but if I'm a coach, he's getting special recognition for that one.
When you combine this win with the Miami win, it's becoming obvious that the Bobcats are not only looking like a playoff team but playing like one as well. (Just typing that sentence was so much fun, by the way!) Also, 3 games over .500 for the FIRST. TIME. EVER. I like this winning stuff and the rewards it brings...
