If this guy gets going then we might be in a world of trouble
Do we bounce back from the Pacers loss last night and start a new winning streak against the Thunder?
If we don't match their energy (and they have plenty) this could be sad...

Just saw a tweet from Mike Cranston of the AP (great follow BTW), something about how it was hard to go to the arena walking past Connolly's and Ri-Ra...happy St. Patrick's Day. I say the Bobcats bounce back and Ray has an insane night guarding Westbrook.

Well, we almost won last night, and we cannot help but improve upon the crappy way we played. With so many starters having such an off night last night, we are due for some key players to come out hot and have a good night. We better, because a loss means we are looking down the barrel of a 4 game losing streak to follow our 6 game winning streak, and that would suck. Win tonight, gain some momentum for Crash's return in ATL and Miami, and maybe our newest Bobcats gets cleared to play soon.
Are we wearing those green uni's from Green Week tonight?
I hope we show up tonight, since it's supposed to be close to a sellout.

Correction. Ray is 148, lol. Now that the Celtics have won their championship he is way past his prime. Jackson is a keeper. Right now I wish the defense would step up. Durant is pretty quiet but Westbrook and Green are having a nice 1st half.

Smart possessions and swarming defense will win us this game. Doris, please don't try anything tricky. Let Felton/Jack/Graham take the shots. Let Thomas/Chandler/Ratliff grab nasty boards. Do this, and we can win this game.

Felton played just an outstanding game! Made great decisions with the ball and took smart shots all the way thru. I have no doubt that he'd easily have had a double double if not for no one being able to throw it in the ocean for the most part of the 1st half.
7 of 10 for 17 points, 4 boards, 7 assists, 1 steal, 1 BS and NO TOs.
his counterpart:
6 of 16 for 15 points, 1 board, 10 assists, 1 steal and FIVE TOs!
Hulk JR has proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that all the haters are just that. Kid defended well and shot an insane % (again!). Jax with an outstanding 2nd half and Boris with yet another solid game!
2 out of 3 without Crash and against 2 very good opponents! I'd have guessed 1 out of 3 and missed every victor!
Outstanding win!!!

Couldn't have put it better myself! I'm ecstatic after this win. If you look at the NBA scores, Chicago down 57-33 Toronto on the verge of losing, it becomes evident that we're in the driver's seat. Consistent, solid (but not necessarily playoff-intensity) basketball will set us up with a contest against boston or atlanta. I can't wait...

considering how the first half started and the way okc has played this year, i'm happy with this win. it showed that, unlike last night, we could overcome a big lead and hold on to a very important win. heading into the weekend b2b with a 1-2 record would've been rough. if we can split the atl/mia games, i'll be happy. i admit, graham deserves his minutes and henderson deserves the lesser minutes. great all around play and way to step up boys!

Agreed and felt this before. It also makes me even MORE confused why people hate Stevie Graham, one of our few wings who can knock down the simple open shot.
I have said before that playing with wings who could consistently shoot off of kickouts, Felton's distribution skills would look ridiculous (let alone playing in the wide open game of the Western Conference). I also think that pushing the ball more often would do something for him, as he often makes better decisions in transition than in the halfcourt. While he can be too fast at times, at other times, the game slows down for him in transition when other guys are running with him.
That said, the ONLY distributor in the league who I trust in the halfcourt without multiple shooters in the floor is Deron Williams and even he struggled at one a year or so ago, leading them to pick up Kyle Korver. And feel free to pick out any other pg in the league and I will give you examples of how they struggled without multiple spot up guys on the floor.
Great comeback from the guys tonight. Great job by Felton deciding to step the fuck up at the end of the 2nd quarter. Great TEAM effort from Graham, Jax, TT, Theo, etc. Furthermore, good bench and substitution management from LB!
We need a white boy spot up perimeter shooter. Someone to make a damn shot.

Wow, I can't believe they beat the Thunder. I was at my girlfriends, and got on to check the score when she went to the bathroom. At the time it was 46-29 OKC. At that point I was like put a fork in it, Charlottes done for the night. Wow was I wrong. I checked the score before I left and see that they won. I also saw Chicago lost which just made it so much better. Now you want to talk about a great day!
Great comeback, that crowd was amazing, I'm surprised the wine and cheesers stuck around to see it. We were awful the first 20 minutes, but damn, that was a great turnaround.
Only thing is the stat sheet is wrong, Ray had a turnover in the first two minutes, Westbrook stole it from him. IIRC.

I don't know where it ranks among the great games played in TWC but that was definitely on the list. Down by 19 to a good, rested team, while our guys are running on fumes and apathy......told my friend I was ready to leave whenever he wanted to and was being serious. He told me we were going to get the lead down to single digits before the half; of course, I laughed, and I'll be damned if the switch clicked on the defensive end, Raymond went insane, and the guys knocked it down to 8 at the half!!! (and the rest is sweet sweet history!)
A tremendous, balanced team effort tonight on both ends, but it was, as usual, the superlative effort on defense that made the difference. The Hulkster was fantastic on Durant, using his girth and irradiated muscles to make the taller, longer KD look uncomfortable out there in the 2nd. Also, there were great double teams on him performed most notably by Chandler; they were hard doubles too, so that KD couldn't instantly find the open man, instead just looking for a guy to help him out and slowing down the offensive flow. Great job.
spectre's breakdown of Raymond is right on: he had maybe his best game of the year tonight by keeping the team in it in the 1st, containing the longer RW and forcing him into some TOs, while at the same time committing, officially at least, zero TOs!
Also, a vintage Larry Brown great play out of the timeout with the alleyoop from Boris to T2 which was set up by a downscreen by Jack if memory serves. But regardless, another great play out of a timeout.
Also, kudos to section 117! The first time I've ever been surrounded by rowdy fans on the first level and it was a hoot!!!

I think the turnover you are talking about was given to Theo, when he passed the ball at Raymond's feet and Westbrook grabbed the ball and passed it to Delfino for a dunk. I think that was around the 9 minute mark of the 1st quarter. So I believe the stat sheet may have been right. I am not sure how they look at turnovers. I know once in another game Ray did a wrap around pass to Chandler and he bobbled it and it was a good pass, but they gave the turnover to Ray.

I believe turnovers (and assists among others) are counted by the home team's score keeper. There was some very interesting material a year or 2 ago regarding Nash and CP3 averaging better numbers at home v. On the road because of that.
Does anyone remember MJ sitting on the bench talking to Jax right before Jax woke up and got it going? They were talking about that post game, but I missed it during the game.

Jax spoke about this on wfnz this moring he said MJ was giving him some pointers as to what he was seeing on the court and that Jax should try to work more from the post area to create offense. speaking of which i think that we should post Jax up more, he seems to either get a high percentage shot or doubled leaving someone else open
