Can't help but wish we had Raja Bell to represent us on national TV. Err..... sorry Jack.

Jack has got some charisma, and he knows better than to make some ridiculous comment. Is he going to be a halftime guest?

So many things wrong with that sentiment, lol.

Without Jack, TNT doesn't need to interview a Bobcat because nobody would be paying attention on the national level. TNT interviews star players, not Raja-level players.

And Jack's a good interview.

More publicity for the team, the better. (Especially when it's Jack or Gerald).

Ignore gobobs, he's a Jack hater...

I just hope it's on a lag. I assume that Barkley ensures its at least a 10 second delay to add beeps.

Jax is a good interview he'll be fine. Jax is one of those players who is how can i put it, excitable. He never met a challenge he wouldn't take or a shot he doesn't think he can not make. His off court issues have taken away from just how good of a player he is, but he has slowly become my favorite player

Great to see the Bobcats finally getting some national tv time. So far during the pre-game show Jackson is representing the organization really well. I like the fact he was honest about Larry Brown and MJ wanting him to raise his game even more. I think he realizes he may be new to the team but he is clearly thought of as one it's leaders. His experience and the fact he has been to the playoffs before is going to be huge.

He was on before the tipoff of the Magic/Heat game, and should be on afterward.

One little thing that annoyed me was TNT putting up his stats for the last 6 years and Chuck commented on them like they were his numbers this year. Probably nothing, but 18.5/4/4 doesn't say the same thing 21/5/4 does.

Welcome to BobcatsPlanet, hope to see your around for a while. I missed seeing Jackson, maybe he'll be in at halftime, but good to hear he was representing well.

Jack did a taped segment that will air later on Inside the NBA, too. I'm sure that'll be up on NBA.com tomorrow for anyone who can't watch it tonight.

Basically every GM move he has made was bad. (besides cleaing cap space fo arenas)
That he was taking on too much responsibility. ehhh it wasn't too bad.... they told jack he was the best move MJ ever made.
Funny moment..... they were talking about who was behind kwame brown in that draft and the short list involved Tyson Chandler and Jack was laughing at the drafts lack of talent... lol

Yeah that was funny. I'm sure Kenny Smith didn't think about Chandler's connection w/ the Bobcats when he made that comment. I always thought MJ/Wizards got a raw deal w/ the Kwame pick. I sure don't remember everybody saying, "You have to take Pau Gasol w/ the 1st pick". But hey that's draft, with that said I am ready for MJ to be a part of a great draft class (one day, we got the playoffs to think about right now!).

I watched the segment they had on nba.com. Mainly consisted of Barkley talking down MJ. Sure MJ has made bad decisions, but he's learnt from them and that's all that matters. Cpt. Jack barely said anything in that segment (though keep in mind it was only a small part of it).

Looking back on Barkley's comments he stated he was worried about Jordan hiring his "friends" in the front office. I found that ironic b/c if these people are anything like Charles that's exactly what he needs to surround himself with. I say that b/c Charles obviously doesn't hold his tongue and he's far from a "yes" man, he is willing to challenge MJ's decisions and offer his own. From what I've seen so far Rod Higgins is doing a very good job.

I saw Barkley say all of that and just thought it was silly. I know Barkley wants to be a GM, but after hearing him say what he did about Jordan, it's pretty clear why he's not. I enjoy Barkley 90% of the time, but those comments were just silly and ignorant.

Charles Barkley is good for a laugh here and there but last night he came off as a jealous friend. I will admit Jordan's management decisions haven't been Jerry West like but people expect Michael to be as successful off the court as he was on the court. It takes time. When I first saw Kwame Brown even I thought he was going to be a star in the league. Just shows that nothing is a sure thing. Does anybody remember Sam Bowie? He was picked before Michael Jordan in the draft and look how that turned out. Barkley mentioned that Michael shouldn't have hired his friends. Said he should get rid of them all and start from scratch. I am sure if Michael feels "his" team can do better with someone else in the key management positions, he will make the necessary changes. How is the golf game going Chuck?:g:

I think Chuck is just upset MJ said he couldn't be GM here...

Either that or MJ had a bet that Chuck couldn't be totally negative on MJ for a whole show.

They're really good friends, so it's nothing I'm worried about.
