Are you talking about that ridiculous trick shot that happened last night? I believe a foul was called before the shot, and the shot was waived off. I didn't have my sound on the game, because I was watching one of my favorite TV shows (Chuck) but I caught it out of the corner of my eye and I was like whoa :o

I'm starting to think he was robbed. The whistle was blown right while he was shooting that shot.

watch the replay (around the 30 second mark). Whoever's narrating said "that doesn't count unless it's in HORSE", but unless they've re-changed the rules:
http://network.nationalpost.com/np/blogs/postedsports/archive/2009/11/23/kobe-bryant-sinks-shot-from-behind-the-backboard.aspx
More than two decades ago, after Larry Bird made a shot from behind the backboard that didn't count in a preseason game, the NBA changed the rule on plays like that. Kobe Bryant was glad they did.
Bryant duplicated Bird's memorable shot and finished with 26 points, leading the Los Angeles Lakers to a 101-85 rout of the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday night and adding yet another clip to his a 14-year NBA highlight reel.
That article was from last year.

In the comments from Bonnell's writeup someone said that Crash was fouled, then stepped on the baseline while shooting the shot.
So I guess he was out of bounds.

It's ESPN's play of the day
I thought I heard our announcers say it was an "illegal shot"...not sure that they were correct but that's what they thought at the time...

If what they are saying about his foot being out of bounds, then ok, but IMO, the foul is what caused GForce to alter his shot behind the backboard. Therefore, the shot should've counted. What bothered me more about the refs was the ridiculous charge they called against (I believe) Jack that gave him the 5th foul and took the lead from being larger. Either way we shit the bed on that game, but there were a few head scratchers down the stretch.

"Shit the bed"? That's a new one for me:D
the replays I looked at showed him clearly in bounds. Oh well though, time to move on guys
