The Bobcats might play a national-television game on April 14—the season-closing game against the Chicago Bulls. The other games that night aren’t particularly strong and the Bobcats and Bulls could still have something at stake, in terms of seeding or even a playoff spot, in game 82.

Does the NBA have flex scheduling like the NFL or something? I know we will be on national TV soon enough

I'm sure the country is really excited about watching Larry Hughes, Gerald Henderson, Derrick Brown, Tyrus Thomas and [ Nazr ] play for 25 mins a piece.

It seems only fair to get thee last game of our season nationally televised. I shouldn't complain since we are finally getting one, because honestly, that quality Jazz - Warriors game last night was gripping and suspenseful.

I hope this game doesn't end up having something at stake...

Yeah, they have flex scheduling.
Which makes me wonder why we're not getting added until the end of the year...no meaningful games? Like Friday's? Oh well, something is FAR better than nothing.
If we do get on it'll be ESPN.

Bah! I'm stubborn enough that I almost wish they'd leave us alone in annonymity as they always have and keep showing those Jazz-Warriors barnburners....
But for guys like spectre and ohara and the rest that can't catch a game on the telly, I do hope they can televise at least one game before the playoffs.

Yes that is a bit odd. That Charlotte-Chicago game could be meaningless by that point. For what it's worth, we have the featured matchup on ESPN's Streak for the Cash today.
