A win tonight would shrink the magic number down to 4, give us our 40th win of the season and bring the 6th and 5th playoff seeds a little bit closer.

Cpt Jack looks so naked without his headband :g:
It'll be close, and I'm sure we'll stay competitive.
We need to stop Jennings, Bogut, Salmons, and to some extent Stackhouse and Delfino.
Definately if we're able to hold down Bogut and Salmons we should come away with a win, unless somehow Jennings pulls shots out of his ass to score 55 on us, which I doubt will happen.
I am so happy that I'm not writing this game summary...I'll be on pins-and-needles the entire game...if the team is ever going to "exert dominance" this is the game they need to do it...:paddle:

Huge game tonight. Rich over at RGM said it very well. A win does not necessarily get us to the 5th or 6th spot. But a loss may very well marry us to 7th. This is a big game. The biggest so far this season. And a win will make the next game even bigger.

This,to me is our biggest game of the season.Keep them off the offensive glass(Milwaukee are 5th in that category),stick to their 3 point shooters(5th in that category also) if i recall correctly they were killing us from the outside in one of our losses to them.Defending the pick n roll is crucial.
Is Nazr in tonight?

Huge "identity" game for who the Bobcats are entering the homestretch. We are at home on what should be an electric Friday night crowd at the TWC, against a team that we are battling against and that we owe one for the way we lost in Milwaukee last time. Defense and strong play in the paint will dictate this game and I'm thinking the home team will take this in a nail biter.

We only had 5 TOs for that half compared to their 8. Seeing as how we average about 4-5 more per game then they do that's a great sign. We have to get better on the boards tho (which we did as the game wore on).
I didn't care for going small, but since DJ has been hitting 3s lately I'd like to see him as off guard just spotting up waiting on the dribble/drive/kick out.
Hopefully LB's still in the locker room to give the ass chewing motivational speech.

What are you talking about?
Chandler's play was a good play only because there were no Bucks guards behind the 3-point line.
Chandler did not know that Felton was the only person back there, he was just making a good hustle play.
But it only worked because there were no Bucks back there.
Had there been a Buck over there, like one should have been based on basketball 101, Chandler would have given him a head start with that tip, and then you and Steve Martin would be criticizing Chandler for tipping it instead of catching it.
In other words, you're letting Steve Martin's enthusiasm get to you. And his enthusiasm is based on what happened instead of what would typically happen. In most situations, somebody on the other team would have been over there, and it won't be a good play.
Chandler made a good play because he hustled, but the play only worked because not one Buck stayed behind the three point line...again, not something that Chandler was even aware of in the heat of the action.
In summary, the Bobcats got lucky, but that's what happens sometimes when you hustle.
His hustle is to be praised, but in most cases, that tip would be no better than 50/50 in terms of which team comes up with it.

With about 3 seconds left. Even if there was a Buck somewhat in the area, the ball being knocked away drains enough clock to make them scoring near impossible.... He couldn't have just done a normal reb, he didn't have the position. He did exactly what he should have done. And more importantly

Felton was stellar tonight on D. Jennings had just won rookie of the month and I don't think Felton let him get by him one time. You stop the dribble penetration and odds are always in your favor.

Forgot to mention (not sure if anyone else has) that NBATV did an interview with Ray...they also had nice things to say about us after the win...:yeah:
I saw that interview and it was great. Ray did a great job. Smitty was giving Ray props but he passed them to Jack and Gerald. Great for the Bobcats and their fans and the city of Charlotte.

Well, the fear of Friday afternoon traffic on 85 south, on Easter weekend no less, made me whimp out and view it on the telly instead of being there. There's been a handful of high-intensity games this year at TWC(last Miami game, OKC are the most recent that come to mind) but it looked like this one even topped those. Still, not being there didn't keep me from getting into any more....I was all over the place in the 2nd half and OT and clapping and yelling like a madman.
This was just a beautiful game. I understand 87-86 in 53 minutes of basketball appears dreadful, but this was a grindfest, where the strongest-willed, more determined team wins, and the Cats did just that. Very very proud of them all! Even GW, who was invisible on offense, did yeoman's work on the glass. And Boris had a fantastic game, though the stats don't show it...calling the TO before GW was wrapped up for a jumpball, rebounding his own miss and passing back out to kill some clock. Hulkster and DJ off the bench. Raymond's clutch FTs in regulation. Jack playing a vintage Jack game with one good arm and one good leg knocking down money shots in the clutch. And of course Chandler with the play of the game....now this is the TC I was hoping for with the Mek trade, and he's coming around at the perfect time!
Enjoy the hell out of this one, guys, and lets look forward to cutting the most magical of numbers in half after tomorrow night's game.
GO CATS!!!

1. I was joking
2.Do you even like the Bobcats?
3 Steve martin would take your bitch.
