I missed last nights game (I am a STH) looks like it was awesome

I set a box down yesterday and when i stood up i became nearly paralyzed in pain. I made it thru the night and ended up in the hospital for 7 hours today

The good news is after an MRI and a CT scan there does not appear to be any significant spinal, disc or organ issues. he bad news is even on heavy duty narcotic painkillers and muscle relaxers my back is at best 20%.

They said severe back spasms. I cannot even express how much it hurts.

Missing the game last night killed me. I had my wife load me into the car and halfway there i had her turn around i just could not take the pain.

As a 33Y.O who works out all the time this shocks me that a 5 lb box could so this much damage

I am hoping ot make the games this week but if it does not improve i wont be able to as sitting is not an option

Could use some BCP prayers

In my sophomore year I was going for a fast break layup and got undercut and landed on my shoulders. I was in the same sort of pain you're describing and it's impossibly horrible. Turns out I pinched two different nerves in my back. Needless to say, it took me almost two years to fully recover from insane random back spasms. Though, I am completely adverse to medicine so that could have something to do with it. :p Eventually, I got used to it but it still sucks nads.

I feel for the crappy position you're in dude, I hope you get better real soon

Get well soon man. I'll be praying for you.

And I don't know how bad your pain is, but aren't there handicapped sections at the arena? Would you be able to watch it there? I'm sure they'd let you.

Best wishes to get well soon...my back spasms hear your pain...take it as easy as you can... Likewise. It really is fucking miserable to not have a single position to be in where you're not in intense pain.

Take it easy and be ready for the (hopefully) playoffs.

I know how back spasms feel and it hurts like crap. All the best with your recovery.

Best of luck with a speedy recovery man. Back problems are annoying and seem to linger. Hope you can get back in time to cheer on the 'Cats.

Thanks guys,

Still in agony today but nothing like yesterday. All I can hope is that is gets a little better each day i guess. I am getting by with just the Naproxen and a muscle relaxer (I fill a script for Percocet but have avoided taking it so far)

Here to hoping I can make it to the game Tuesday night. I have extra tickets now from missing friday as tuesday is the last ticket trade game. I dont want to see all of the tickets go to waste.

They did say i can use the handicap section which i may need to as standing is not TOO bad but sitting still kills
