Speaking of "Hawks", working downtown I've been seeing more and more of this hair :airquote: style :airquote:.

http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w301/bobcatsplanet/fauxhawk4.jpg
Apparently it's called a Faux-Hawk... Caucasian-America, can you please explain the purpose of this haircut to me. I know that my people have been a part of some epicly horrific hair trends in the past ( see the jheri curl (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jheri_curl) ) BUT this look screams "I am a douchebag and proud of it".
I'm being completely serious when I'm telling you that it baffles the shit out of me.
Now to the game.
Bobcats win it 97-94 in a tight one.
Your thoughts?
I think we lose. Because everytime I predict a win we lose. And I predict a win.
But Zig, as a Caucasian, that haircut bugs me. It makes no sense. Either get a mohawk or be normal...

I'm going to chicken out and say "I can't predict this one"
Jax is playing with injuries and we're trying to prevent the Hawks 50th victory since 97-98.If Jax has one of those 3-150fga games we're

This is serious gut check time. Home game vs a good Hawks team fighting for the best seed they can get. Cats need to get the momentum back after they blew it in the Chicago game. We need to get momentum going as we hopefully head into the playoffs.

Gut check time indeed, Ohara.
Nothing is a must-win yet, but this feels pretty damn close. Both sides are equally banged up, there's no reason we can blame it on injury. They're without arguably one of the best scorers in the East.
Even though Jack has every body part known to man listed on the injury report, I feel like we pull this out. LB will certainly have them mentally prepared. If not now, I don't hold out much hope for the rest of the season/post-season.

Anyone know if Cpt. Jack is playing? If he is, he really is one tough guy. Just like Felton, and we know Felton can take a golf club to the face, two gun shot wounds to each knee and play like a real man.
We really need this win. It'll be up to our backup to cover Cpt. Jack. Will probably see alot of Hughes and Graham, I'm fine with the latter but not the former.
My prediction: 89 - 85 (Bobcats Favour)

Yes. I think the idea is "I'm corporate, but I'm still cool." It started with bands that wanted to appeal equally to teenagers and their soccer moms.

Are we pulling for the Bucks or the Bulls? I don't know if I can pull for Chicago.
We're doing everything that we haven't been lately in this game. Crash came out motivated, no questionable long ball shots by Jax, moving the ball, rebounding, hawkish double teams and making our FTs. If we can continue to do this then I'll be thrilled.

Chris Bosh left Tuesday's game after being elbowed in the face -- he is headed to the hospital for a CAT scan.
Trainers appeared to be tending to the right side of his face and nose, and hopefully the tests won't reveal any serious injuries. The Raptors are fighting for their playoff lives and can't afford to lose CB4 for any length of time.

I missed most of the game, but here is me making an assessment from the box score. WTF LB, play your bench. They were dominating the Hawks in the first quarter. How many minutes did Stephen Graham and Derrick Brown get? Freakin 2. Stephen Jackson is supposed to be ailing and he plays 36 minutes? I know this is nothing new, but how does this make any sense.

It doesn't make sense that Jax played more than 30 minutes if that makes sense out of the sense that didn't make sense,so making sense would not be sensible.
No seriously, i was actually becoming very annoyed at LB for playing Jax in the 4th quarter.I would have preferred Hulk playing most of those minutes.

And the domination of ATL at the TWC continues, baby! The return of a beastly GW was a sight for sore eyes and ultimately was the difference as nobody for the Hawks could match him. Boris channeled his hero, Magic, with some of the passes he made tonight; he did flub a lay-in from a great Jack pass, but otherwise, he was damn good. DJ's defense left a lot to be desired (not new), but hit some big, timely 3s.
Just a terrific game, with a terrific atmosphere in TWC, which reached decibels never reached before. I've been critical as hell about the people of Charlotte not coming out to support our fellas, so I'll give it up to them for not only showing up, but making a racket no less.

Notes
The only bad news came in the fourth quarter when backup forward Tyrus Thomas suffered a dislocated right thumb. "It looked terrible but they put it back in," Brown said. "He wanted to come back" and play….
Nazr Mohammed is expected to play Wednesday night in New Orleans. Mohammed hasn’t played since back spasms knocked him out of action in late February. "Nazr deserves the time," Brown said. "He was playing his best basketball before he got hurt. And I have to remember that."…
I like that about TT.
