Greetings! Chest bumps, hand pounds, and middle fingers to all. As we venture into the playoffs in these coming weeks I just wanted to give you Felton man lovers the heads up. Tuesday night the head of a prominent player agency that represents two bobcats A.T. had dinner with M.J. the boss himself. Confirmed in said dinner is Felton will not be resigned this summer so I suggest you all stack up on your starter condoms and wear them as you watch the games over the next couple weeks so you don't impregnate yourself. He's gone.....Also for you want to be out of the loop no information having ballers......wait for it....wait for it....There is a 50/50 chance LB will not return next year. LB's wife hates Charlotte that is why she rarely attends games. She doesn't get along with the two daughters that stay in Charlotte. (Who would have thunk it being that they are around the same age)...Now go plop on real gm and sit and wait for them to for sure announce the Felton news im giving you and most likely announce the LB news and come back and say they put it out first. Anyway, being that the Cats are here in my hometown me and my dime peice will be sitting front and center having top self alcohol brought to us courtside eating 15 dollar popcorn while I flex my 16 inch pythons everytime they put me on the jumbo tron (5 to 10 times on average) and cheering on... Well....Bobcats 92 1/2 Rockets 92...Conflict of interest you wouldn't understand...:biggrin:Seee ya!

I don't know you. Don't touch me.

This is the same person who said DJ was going to the Pacers and said there would be a trade within two weeks of his post...didn't happen.

His claim to fame is breaking the J-Rich/Diaw trade, but there's no proof he actually did break it.

Also, he says he's marrying DJ's sister, but hasn't shown any proof.

Yeah, smooth move. MJ buys a team and then breaks the news to his starting PG that they won't be having him back next season just about a week before the team is to start its first ever playoff series.

You sure do make things interesting around here, Testicle Prostitute.
I thank you for that.

Hey numb nuts!
I didn't say he was breaking the news before the playoffs. Part of reading is comprehension. Let me break it down to you. Felton plays the remainder of the season playoffs, finals, whatever and doesn't receive a new deal. See how that works. Regardless he won't be back. So like I said go put your elementary trojan on and watch the remainder games. Yes the DJ trade was all but done Bob Johnson nixed that sh#t not wanting to make moves or take on any more salary. It really went to the last minute DJ himself was prepared not to take the court and fly to meet his new team mates. Anyway, goodnight slap dick im about to sink into my 2000 count sheets just making it home from the game.

You've been right so many times before testicle prostitute that we can't do anything but believe you. Gotta say though, I like how you play the game. Felton stays or leaves gives you 50% odds. LB stays or leaves gives you 50% odds.

Felton for Prez
04-10-2010, 02:44 PM
First off, I do believe this whackadoo has some "in" with the team. Given his cantakerous nature, I'm honestly shocked that anyone would talk to him much less be a friend of his. Oh well, no accounting for taste.

That being said, I have some faith in management and it would be ludicrous to say with 100% certainty that Felton won't be back. I don't believe they said that. Its simply too early. Now, it is going to be difficult to sign him? Absolutely. We've talked about that over and over again. He's going to want 8 or 9 or more and the team isn't going to want to pay that. So it's not really news that he might not be here next season.

The 50/50 on Larry Brown thing...come on, we all knew that already. Heck, Jordan all but say so in most of his interviews. It would suck if he left but who can argue with his reasons.

Ballwhore - we'd love to get the inside view from you given your connections. It would simply be nice if you toned down the hostility. Maybe you needed to be hugged more a kid or something, I don't know. Seriously though, this is a pretty chill group of guys, let's just talk hoops and act like adults.

I believe you ballwhore, I've had a feeling that this was going to happen.

That being said, I don't understand why if they weren't 100% sure about bringing Felton back, then why did they try to trade DJ away?

Honestly, I've liked DJ's game better overall since we drafted him, even this year, I just think he needs starter minutes to do work. Ray has definitely improved but still can be pretty inconsistent... His clutch shots have been huge though...

Idk... So also, I'm wondering, if the FO (including Higgins and Jordan) tried to trade DJ away, do they plan on keeping him and making him the starter next year if they're going to let Ray walk? Not that it means much b/c it's business, but I always thought it was weird that we tried to trade DJ and he's a member of the Jordan Brand. I just don't get any of the logic here. Trying to trade him would suggest they didn't believe in him here...

Dexmor
04-10-2010, 05:13 PM
They didn't tell him they were gonna let him walk. Thats insane. With that said there is a hell of a good chance he could and I think it really all depends on the Knicks which is so fucked up to me because I HATE the knicks, (From NY) and the thought of him playing there makes me sick.
If NY doesn't offer him a big deal who else will? We could get him back cheaper then thought. 8-9 is to much.

Also I do agree D.J. with starters minutes has breakout potential so i am gonna just say whatever happens happens as long as Tyrus is resigned.

Unless Sean May is still a Bobcat, he only represents Hendo.

DJ is also at the Wasserman Group (Arn's agency) but is apparently part of Thaddeus Foucher's clientele.

The only reason Arn would need to be informed about Ray is if TJ Ford were to opt out and come to Charlotte, as TJ is one of Arn's clients. Or unless Thad isn't important enough for MJ's time

On what he is saying, i think their could be some validity to it. Just like everyone else has been saying, we dont want to pay Raymond and LB is getting old/unsettled in Charlotte. So i guess it 'could' happen. Not sure if their really was some grand meeting that is rivaled only by the Yalta Conference in the field of secret meetings that determine the fate/future of the free world, but it does bring to light some unpleasant realities. :g:

I think Ray definitely wants to stay in Charlotte and think the FO wants to keep him here. Frankly, I guess their money may be funny. I think Miami and New York may go after Ray, but I also think he would be a good fit with the Lakers. Their is a Carolina connection in that Mitch Kupchack is the Laker general manager. I found out that the Lakers probably could only offer Ray the MLE. The Lakers really need a quality point guard. I don't want to see Ray leave Charlotte, but let's face it, this game is also a business. I hate it because the Bobcats have come so far. I hope they will have a playoff run to remember. I ran across this article for information: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/342055-nba-rumors-five-free-agents-whod-look-great-in-a-miami-heat-jersey-next-season#page/2

I got it ok. Here's the gist:

NBA Rumors: Five Free Agents Who'd Look Great in a Miami Heat Jersey Next Season

5. Raymond Felton - Charlotte Bobcats

Raymond Felton is going to be an unrestricted free agent at the season's end and I think he'd be a great pick up for the Heat. Miami has had point guard troubles all season long, with Carlos Arroyo and Mario Chalmers extremely inconsistent and midseason signing Rafer Alston playing under expectations.
The Heat lack a vocal point guard leader that will run the offense efficiently and they often are forced to use Wade at the one position.
Felton has a score-first mentality that can break down a defense, but still has the skill to be a facilitator and distribute. Him and Wade would form a dynamic back court. The former Tar Heel would move right into the starting lineup and could sign for the mid-level exception.4. Ray Allen
3. Amar'e
2. Boozer
1. Bosh

All I know is that there are a few teams that traded players for expirings so they could clear up money to land King James or a couple other big FA's. With that kind of money out there, and the Cats being limited in cap space, it wont surprise me one bit if someone out there offers him $8-9 mil per season and Charlotte is just unable to match it. Seems very logical and possible. For Ray to stay here when other teams are offering anywhere from 1.5 - 2 mil /season more would require him loving Charlotte a lot more than we all know. I have no clue about Ballwhore's credentials. But the Pacers trade was fairly close to happening, so I am not going to totally discount him.

Both D.J. and Hendersons agent are under the umbrella of Arn Tellem. The meeting wasn't just about those two. But those are facts that came out of the conversation. So, yes there is a resurgence in confidence and everything else with D.J. knowing that the organzation values him long term enough to tell him to ditch his South Park place and buy a home. Holla!

I would not jump to conclusions. Homes are bought and sold everyday. Makes since to buy any day rather than rent. I am glad to see DJ playing well but I not yet sold on him being the starting point guard. He has had a good stretch but production is analyzed over the long haul. Don't get me wrong, I want him to continue to play well, but he is limited defensively .

Actually, in most parts of Charlotte it's cheaper to rent than buy, as of last year.

But you don't build equity and you can't take advantage of the general rise in housing prices to make a profit. Short term renting makes sense. Long term, buying is better, especially with taxes.
