I like the respect we are given but.....
Don't we play Atl/Mil in the next round and not Cleveland. It seems like his logic on how we and the Celtics make it to the Eastern Conference finals is wrong.

I do believe that IF we get by Orlando, we can beat Atlanta and then give Cleveland a run for their money.

Skip Bayless has ZERO credibility.

NONE.

Skip Bayless is a giant dumbass. That's a bad omen for him to pick us to get to the conference finals. We'll probably get swept now.

Yeah, he's a tool. Everything he says is for shock value. In fact, I'd say he just likes to hate on the Magic, if anything. He says Dwight is the second best center... on OUR TEAM.

...?

Right. Well, there ya go.

But yeah, you guys aren't getting swept. For sure. Honestly, I see this going a minimum of 6 games. And if you guys get it to 7, then anything goes.

See I would like Skip for this if his true agenda wasn't to bash Lebron on a daily basis. He hates Lebron, HATES him, so he's going say whatever is necessary to publicly scrutinize him. In my opinion, the only reason he has us beating Orlando is so he can match us up with Cleavland, and he has us beating Cleavland because:

A.) He hates Lebron, and:

B.) He's going to stay with his Boston pick, and he knows there's no chance Boston can beat Cleavland so he's picking us to get there because Boston has dominated us all year.

There is the small chance he is sincere on this, but I highly doubt it.

Bayless also had a recent tiff with D-Ho. Zero credibility.

Bayless just says whatever gives a rise. Hed say water was dry if you argued it was wet.

We need to just give this as little publicity as possible. the last thing we need is something getting picked up in the media and giving Orlando something to read and get pissed about. shut it down

I think Bayless is just trying to justify his preseaon pick. His "predicition" means either the Celtics (in 2nd round) or Bulls (in 1st round) knock off Cleveland. Not sure how the #1 seed losing before the conference finals didn't get more mention in his commentary.

On another note, I sent the Bobcats an idea for the inevitable Tshirt giveaway for the Game. Sure a "white-out", "blue-out' or "orange-out" are most predictable, but how about a "green-out". The fans, the 6th man, could be DHoward's Kryptonite decked out in all green. Have the fans jumping around like college basketball fans during March Madness and it'll help our Bobcats.

I like the green shirt IDEA.

I was just thinking about this in the shower, and how it will happen because the Bobcats will prove that PLAYING AS A TEAM matters more than having a superstar on your roster.

The media is in love with CELEBRITY, and when it comes to sports, that means they will always choose the teams with the CELEBRATED NAMES.

That's why out of all the 1st round matchups, the only lower seed in the East that most of the analysts believe has a chance is Miami...because they have "DWYANE WADE" on their roster.

They say that "STARS ARE MADE" in the Playoffs. There is too much of a focus on "stars", in my opinion.

If the Bobcats take advantage of the series with the Magic, the media will AUTOMATICALLY TRY TO LOOK FOR ONE PERSON ON THE ROSTER to cite as the reason for it happening.

I hope a different Bobcat leads the team in scoring every game they win, which is likely to happen anyway, just so the media has to break from its script.

Even their leading scorer, Jackson, only averages 21 ppg, because they don't rely on his scoring to win games. Wade ALWAYS leads the Heat in scoring (would 10 out of 10 games), Kobe ALWAYS leads the Lakers in scoring (would 9 out of 10 games), and James ALWAYS leads the Cavs in scoring (would 9 out of 10 games).

Jackson might lead the Bobcats in scoring 5 out of 10 games, Wallace might 3 out of 10, Felton might 1 out of 10, and then pick a person.

The Bobcats are a team.

If they make it past the Magic, it will be because they have more than enough players who can lead the team in scoring any night.

I want a team to advance that doesn't rely on a "SUPERSTAR", just so I can point out to the media that "TEAM" matters more than "NAME."

Wow, I love that idea!
Be sure to let us know if you hear anything back from the Bobcats,

In his scenario, the Bobcats would play the Celtics in the Conference Finals if the Celtics get past Miami and Cleveland/Chicago, and the Bobcats get past Orlando and Atlanta/Milwaukee.

Bayless said we'd be playing the Cavs in the second round, which is obviously impossible. He's an idiot. Don't pay him any attention--good or bad.

Wow!!! ROFLMAO!!!

Don't get me wrong I would love to see the Bobcats achieve such an accomplishment but it is about as likely as our current president of the USA being reelected and the house and senate remaining under the lefts control.

I happen to be an Obama supporter. Well, aside from Ron Paul. Nobody else on the right is worth a shit. At least not any I have seen.

I do give the Bobcats an outside shot at making it past Orlando but I just don't see them going beyond the second round.

Skip Bayless is fun to watch but mostly because of how often he is wrong. ;)
