I noticed that the games are being played both on TNT and Fox Carolinas, so does that mean they'll black out TNT in NC, then all non TWC customers outside of 75 miles will also be blacked out? That's a terrible thing to do to the fans. They've done it all season, I hope they don't do it tonight. I was hoping on watching the game at one of my friend's house since he's got an awesome tv. He's got direct tv though and lives just outside of the 75 mile thing. I gotta say, I think if they continue this blackout bullshit through the playoffs then this franchise may just be too stupid to succeed financially.

As of right now it's showing as unblocked on DISH.

I'm not even entertaining the thought that it'd be blacked out.

please remember that the nba decides the black out limit, and the reason he is blacked out is because he is considered out of market and d-tv refuses to pay out of market fee to show the games, it not cats fault

I suppose I somewhat understand. He lives an hour and a half from the arena, so obviously their idea of "the market" is tiny. The problem is that they black it out even on other channels, like if a game is shown on MSG or NBATV it still gets blacked out. So would they black out TNT? I don't understand why he could watch any other NBA team play via ESPN, TNT, MSG, NBATV and all Fox Sports channels he gets from around the country, but for some reason he can't watch the Bobcats. I'm sure D-TV isn't paying out of the market fees so he can watch teams from all over the country.

Michael Thompson told me that TNT will not be blacked out for anyone.

Are Martin/Curry doing the game on FSN? If so, would you rather watch the national guys or the local guys?

I think I go with the national guys just to see what they say and then switch to the local guys for game 2 on.

Tons of fans are angry at the TV situations the Bobcats have found themselves in since around their 3rd season. I had DirecTV and they were no better than Dish Network, which I have now. The satellite and cable companies haven't been pushed enough by the franchise to pick up their games.

I hope that Jordan, as a smart businessman, will confront the issue this summer so fans can watch the games starting next season. It's not that difficult to realize that if the majority of the state (and parts of South Carolina) can't pick up the games, then how are you suppose to build a fan base? The 2010-2011 season is a starting point to grabbing fans from Asheville, Raleigh and Wilmington.
