He's gonna get swatted by Theo first play of the game.

Definitely in the first quarter when either of the 3-headed block machine that is Theo/T2/Chandler steps in.

While we're at it, when do you think someone will dunk in his face? If LB plays Hendo, we'll have TC, Theo, TT, Hendo and Crash. And all of them love nothing more to do than dunk the ball, especially TC.

As for swattin his shot, probably Theo since he'll probably start. If he doesn't get it in his first minutes before being swapped out by TC, then either TC or TT. Perhaps Gdub.

Speaking of blocks... 9 is a pretty good number. Bill Russell like.

One of those blocks was a very clear goaltend another 2 or 3 were fouls.

please dont bring fouls into this, my goodness did you get some ticky tack fouls called for you guys. but really i dont think that you can say that some of his blocks were fouls. when you are running right into the defensive player and get hit while he is trying to block the ball, that is not a foul on the D player. now if he hits you in the head with his hand or arm yes that is not a foul. but all of his blocks were contact body to body and that my friend is a bullshit call if it is made otherwise how in gods name are you supposed to defend the basket. simple answer, you cant. i wish we could go back to 90's ball when your owner played. let the big men play like big men and stop the flopping. this foul crap has got to stop it has made the game almost boring to watch.

how bout that jump ball call with g force strangling ryan anderson. hows that for a no call.

now if he hits you in the head with his hand or arm yes that is a foul. You mean like in the 4th quarter when Dwight Howard smacked Gerald Wallace in the head after stealing a rebound from him that would have been his 6th? I knew you'd see it my way....

You mean that play where they both went for the ball and Anderson had Crash's arm locked between his because he had a hand on the ball. Then when Anderson swung around he pulled Crash down since he was basically locked into him?

Yeah, that's called a jump ball sweet heart.

everybody on this thread needs to quit crying about fouls. sure there are flops and sure the refs missed some and sure howard still does not really know how to play defense and leave his emotions on the sidelines after 4 or 5 years in the league, but good god this thread reads like a bunch of cry baby college basketball fans whining about travels and carries.

i guess we can agree to dissagree but i wasnt really bitching about the call just showing how awfull the refs were all game for both teams. i was simply using an example.

I thought the refs did an alright job on both sides. Vince was complaining, but he is a giant pansy. In the playoffs, some of the lighter fouls just aren't going to get called. The only issue I had was that Dwight Howard definitely fouled out 2 or 3 times, but no ref wanted to call the last one. The prime culprit was that HUGE elbow to the head of Gerald Wallace.

I was actually of the notion that Crash did get angry and foul him...... until I saw the replay from under the rim. It was just one of those plays that looked worse than it was. They got tangled up and fell down. Neither one had bad feelings on the ground--nor when they got up.

There were a lot of calls that favored us, but there were also calls that favored you guys. The goaltend that even the commentators saw, the Dwight slap on the board, and the collision in the air that Crash made (no call) just to name a few. It goes both ways.

Yeah, the refs were kinda weird. They called all th ticky tack stuff that got Vince out (which I wasn't happy with, BTW), but they didn't call obvious stuff. And it went both ways.

I just hope they get their shit together.

Yeah, I agree: the calls were awful on both sides.

Can't remember specifics, but there were a few that you guys should have got, and there were a couple that we should have got.

I hope they call a better game, for both of us, Wed. I want the PLAYERS to decide these games, not the refs.

Ditto. I can name at least a couple against the Bobcats but not so many against the Magic because you know I'm a little biased in favor of the Bobcats. Specifically I remember the smack to Gerald's head and the goaltend on Howard. As for against the Magic, my friends thought there were some travels that went uncalled on the Bobcats.

It wouldn't be fair to say calls cost us the game, because we allowed them to shoot the three too well to ever get back into it completely. Regardless, the fact that Dwight gets away with that hit on Wallace's skull and the full body check when Crash is driving to the hoop when he already has five fouls is bullshit, i don't care what team you pull for.

Agreed. Very inconsistent officiating all night. Either let the teams play a physical game or don't, but the refs have to choose one or the other. Otherwise neither team can get a feel for the game and establish any type of rhythm.
