Thank you Bobcats

I want to start off by saying that I am a Magic fan, I have only been to this site once when a thread from this site was posted on the Magic forum....so I hope you guys just give me a chance to say something before you go all up in arms.


I just wanted to say thank you so much to the Charlotte Bobcats team. This team have so much heart and the will to never give up. The team was absolutely amazing. I know when the box scores are read everyone will see a sweep but that was no sweep. This was a hard fought battle. The defensive from the Bobcats were mesmerizing and honestly if the Orlando Magic win in the Finals it will be because of the lessons learned from the Bobcats. You guys were the #1 defensive team, and if you played any other team, I'm absolutely certain that you would have given them fits and headaches like the Magic and the series would be much longer and the results probably different.

This playoff round taught me something, if you guys keep your roster but add more pieces on the offensive end, absolutely no team will step in the Cable Box arena and believe it will be an easy match-up. You guys will be pretty dangerous next year. Good luck. :cool:

I've gained a lot more respect for Orlando than I had, and like I put in another post I'm pulling for you guys to win it all this year.

Here's to many seasons of a fierce rivalry.

Thanks so much for the classy post. I find it hard to root against the Magic when people such as yourself come on here and show such class. I originally was rooting for the Magic as the other team in the East I would pull for. However when certain fans came on here and berated an 8th seed team in it's FIRST EVER playoff appearance I began to lose some respect for the Magic Kingdom and it's fans. I had thought Micky Mouse (Lol) was a nice guy and the Magic kingdom was a nice place. Some made me wonder.

Thanks to you and a few others I see that the better share of your fans are decent and I will root for the Magic to win it all. Unless of coarse a miracle happens and my other team the Denver Nuggets meet them in the Finals.

I'll say this, its hard to root against a team that you don't hate.

The cavs, the celtics, the lakers... I HATE them.. but the bobcats, I like the team actually, like them a lot. I think you guys have a squad in Charlotte and I certainly admire the team a lot more then when the series started. Playoffs are always about matchups and charlotte didn't matchup with the Magic.. thats it.

You guys have a seriously great fan base, it seems, and I think the team will get better and better. Also the Charlotte fans seem quite civilized unlike the majority of other teams out there so I certainly give you guys that.
