Greetings, Middle finger to all. Today the mighty bobcat players had their exit interviews with former coach Larry Brown and Rod Higgins. It is confirmed LB is not coming back and D.J. will be your starting point guard next year hate it or love it folks. His relationship with LB has long been strained they haven't been on the same page since the injury last year. Happiness at work leads to quality at work so I look for D.J. to rebound and do just fine. Anyway, LB is definitely gone as well as Felton unless he takes a low ball offer and is willing to not be the starter. Avery Johnson possibly being the next coach is currently being thrown around the franchise. GONE!!! Not maybe...GONE....Say goodbye..Toodles

I know, same here. Then again, he did say Iverson was going to sign here...
I guess I have two weeks to prepare a smear campaign on DJ and AJ.
Oh, and Ballwhore: Next time you see your brother in law, tell him to hit the gym.

I never once said a thing about Iverson get your sh#t straight. Hell you can tell the whole roster to hit the gym from top to bottom. I'd like to see you handle a pick. Smear on until it's band wagon time.

Wrong.
And I'll always root for this team, but if they hire Avery OR start DJ, we're taking a huge step back.
And Ray needs to hit the gym? Or Crash? Maybe Henderson didn't get enough conditioning in? Tyson was looking pretty weak, too.
black1605, ballwhore is engaged (or are you married yet?) to DJ's sister, and "broke" the news on the J-Rich trade. There's some doubt as to whether he posted it before RGM, though. He's definitely a source, but he's also an ass.

thanks teej, and has it been confirmed he is engaged to DJs sister? or are we taking his word because he was right about the trade

Funny thing is, the board just wouldn't be the same if the guy wasn't a total douchenozzle about it. It is what it is, I guess.
This guy bats less than .500 but LB leaving is no shock...DJ might like to think he'll be the starter...and Ray will leave if he gets a better offer...who would not leave for more money...
Ray with another teams they'd have to sign one of the FAQ PGs...Blake or Ridnour...sad but as mediocre as they both are either of them will beat out DJ...

Flip Murray beat out DJ. We could go that route again and let the rest of the guys run the offense, and not have a true point.

I still think LB will be back. If he was leaving, why in the hell would he follow MJ around a golf course today?
If he goes...how about Rick Carlisle as an alternative to Avery...last time he followed in Larry's path he was named NBA coach of the year in his first season with Detroit. If Dallas doesn't advance...I don't see Mark Cuban keeping Carlisle around.
Or Dave Hanners...there was a day that Popovich was an unknown assistant for LB.
Flip Murray beat out DJ. We could go that route again and let the rest of the guys run the offense, and not have a true point.
teej...I'm in no way opposed to bringing Flip back...rather have him as the 6th man though...Ridnour and Blake can (at least) run an offense...I'd do a 2yr. with one of them...and Ridnour had DJ for lunch when we played the Bucks...
The other thing that would not hurt my feelings is if we could make a trade for an upgrade at PG...

I totally agree with you, but if MJ needs the money for TT, then Flip is a cheap alternative, and it'd give us an unconventional team. Jack, Crash, and Boris have all started games at PG, so they could run the offense, Flip and DJ would be the shooting guards, but defend the opponent's point. Just an idea, and not my first choice.
...let me add Livingston and Alston to Blake and Ridnour...I think we could get one of those guys at a reasonable price...particularly with them knowing they would compete for starter and "resurrect" their careers...just a thought...but I'm in no way depending on DJ...:hysterical:
...and I agree about the money...considering we need a guy like Miller or Korver also it's going to be tough...trade or buying a draft pick and getting very lucky maybe the only hope Obi-Won Kenobi...

I like Livingston, while he's obviously not the same, he'd be a good pickup. He looked serviceable for the Wizards.
I'd love Korver, he's a class act. Miller would demand both the ball and the cash more than we need.

Nolan Richardson!
i have always seen ballwhore as a heel in the wwe. i also think he does provide honest reliable info. if he is getting his info from dj or through dj, he could be batting .500 because front office plans change mid-plan/negotiations after he has posted when dj doesn't know about it. i like ballwhore and i think he does a great job toeing the line between entertaining and insulting/trolling. he adds spice to the planet.
although we would be worse off next year and possibly the year after, i think our point guard prize right now is cp3. and if it is, i give the front office credit for long term thinking. i think we can be competitive if we play dj and another semi-decent pg, if we re-sign TT and add another decent (brandon bass-ish) pf.

Brown conducted end-of-season exit interviews with his players Tuesday, which is ironic given he may be exiting as well. The coach was in no shape to make an informed decision Monday night after the loss, saying he just felt "miserable."

I am at the Quail Hollow Championship today, and was following the Michael Jordan-Fred Couples pairing on the ninth tee when things started to get interesting.
Out of the gallery bounded Charlotte Bobcats coach Larry Brown (who originally was a candidate to play in the pro-am, but ended up not doing so). Brown hugged everybody in the group -- it also includes Quail Hollow president Johny Harris -- and then started following them inside the ropes.

Maybe the OP's little buddy had his interview on Wednesday morning? I don't know at what time MJ was on the 9th tee Wednesday, but according to Bonnell the interviews were Tuesday.

I truly apologize if I have offened some of you guys. In the coming months I will be displaying extreme acts of kindness in an attempt to change the bad taste and opinion I leave of ones self in the minds of most. I have decided to turn to Kissassism it's a form of buddism currently being practice in 49 states. I would like to invite all of you guys out for starters to the Cheesecake Factory in South Park where you will be treated to your favorite desert and one top self beverage of your choice. For those of you that take a cab I will pay the fare to and from your destination. Before you leave each one of you doubters of my knowledge will also get a personal treat. One mind rattling, spit spewing slap from the diamond encrasted glove I carry in my left ass pocket and sent home to search for information on the world wide web to discount my truths. See im trying. Anyway, as far as D.J. he knows one decent season one awful equals nothing done but look at his numbers as a starter that tells a story as well. I live in Houston where I watched AAron Brroks go through the same sh#t. He had Jeff Van Gundy a defensive slow the ball down coach (The exact same as LB) and struggled in monumental proportions (couldn't even get time with Rafer fcking Alston) to Rick Adleman(total opposite of LB and JVG) up tempo and go on to win the NBA most improved player. Their careers are taking the same path in my opinion. Aaron Brooks didn't stop a damn soul at any of the 20 plus games we attended but he has a back up that can come in and play some d. He took the starters job unproven. To me it's safe to say the system didn't fit AB just like LB's didn't fit D.J. so i'm more than confident he will be fine. Just imagine how going to a job unhappy can affect your performance. Hell him and LB didn't mix. Anyway, I didn't say Avery was the definite choice but he is the only choice we've heard. L.B. is GONE! Felton is GONE!....F--K LB after Jordan and Higgins caters to his ancient azz he pulls the same old stunt leaving a team in disarraywith not many outs...Change! Yes We can...Please like me..Toodles!
I can't speak for everyone here...but it certainly helps to show respect to your fellow forum members...not contempt...I for one will take what you say at face-value and hope that you live up to your new found philosophy of mutual respect...

If LB is gone, it will be unfortunate, but he did put us in the right direction, and Avery Johnson wouldn't be that bad of a hire either...IMO.

I already expected this move by LB... Who didn't? But, I thought of it like this... You ever walk into a car dealership or dept. store where they tried to up-sell you from what you were looking for? For those that are married and you're wife wasn't there... What did you say? I always liked the 'Well, I have to ask the wife about this one, I'll come back tomorrow' if I didn't feel like being an ass.
Well, that's what LB is doing with the media. He doesn't feel like coming out and saying, 'I'm leaving.' He doesn't feel like dealing with the backlash and the perception that he is selfish and can't stay anywhere too long. So what does he do, 'I'm gonna go home and talk it over with my family/wife.' Displacing the responsibility of the decision on his wife... Genius.

With the right minutes and the right system I can see DJ putting up about 20ppg and 6-7 dimes a night next year. That should get us our 2nd all star selection, possibly our 3rd b/c with that kind of production Jack should get better looks as well. Now that Gerald has broken the all star ice if his production stays on track we could have 3 all stars next year.
3 all stars = trip to the Eastern Conf Finals
Can anyone else see this?

Listen Ballwhore, I for one, have nothing againest you. I believe you may actually have a 'source', and that what you report, may actually be what is going on. Even going back to the AI thing, wasnt it said that LB wanted AI? I mean u were right about Raja, and MJ just wouldnt buy into the whole AI idea.
Witht the stuff you reported in this thread, it could be 100% true. Afterall, I dont expect LB to return next year anyway. And I would suspect that Avery Johnson(aka Big Teeth or Ray Felton Sr. in my household lolololol) would be the number 1 target for the next coach. MJ did say a while back(Before FHB was hired) that he wanted a Avery Johnson type coach or soemthing along those lines.
Anyway, keep letting us know what you hear. If you really have a source, that is......
And to everyone else; Why don't you guys consider that Ballwhore may be telling the truth? Sure he may have been worng before, but things to change in the Front Office. What is said, may not eventually end up happening(ex: AI signing)......and ballwhore just reports what he hears first

If you listen to some people it's like all you have to do is put DJ in the starting lineup and.......boom we're where we want to be. We have a serious problem at PF and until that issue is resolved all of our other issues are secondary IMO. If DJ was in a bad mood this season which led to his poor play, Boris must be in a state of severe depression.

Well IF we lose Felton and DJ is moved up to starting position then maybe that is all he needs, the reponcibility of running the main core. That would make him train harder, work harder and play harder... at least it would me...

Yeah, BW says (from DJ) that LB and Ray are gone, DJ will start, and Coach Penis is their first choice.
