We haven't done one of these in a while and we have quite a few new members, so its time to do it again... Lets hear it, what do you do for a living, and do you enjoy it?

I'll go first, I'm an I.T. guy ( no pocket protectors ), my specialty is on the database side of things, but I really enjoy the web development side of that world as you might have ascertained by the creation of this site

As far as enjoying my job, this field was a lot more fun circa 1995-2005 for many reasons that could lead to a much longer conversation, but it pays the bills.

Lets hear about yours.

I'm a full time student, I "work" as a manager for UNCW's men's basketball team. I do what you'd expect a manager would, get the players water and towels during the game and wash their jerseys, all for 5 months of pay. It isn't glamorous, but I love the game and I get to travel to some pretty cool places.

An undergrad, still. I'm taking it slowly. I earn a little extra pocket money by interpreting/translating and writing essays for those less so inclined.

Being in the nutrition field, what is your opinion on the KFC Double Down? Is it evil incarnate?

I'm afraid that after eating one, that it will be a slippery slope to needing 10 double downs per day.

Excuse me while I flashback to a brutal Sausage/egg/cheese Mcgriddle habit that it took way too long to kick.

personally it is pretty offensive. kinda like when burger king came out with the "chicken fries". i like the line of thinking. "how can we make french fries better? I know, make them out of chicken instead of potatoes!"

in a way though, I give them credit. along with hardees, carl's jr etc. I call them the Eff You choices. "i see your obesity epidemic and i raise you a Monster Burger". i put the smoker of today in this category too.

I love Hardees(not eating there). Every month it is a new choice of sandwich. Grilled Cheese burger, no a Jalapeno burger. Maybe you would like to try a Phillycheese steak burger? I give it to their creative staff not to let anything get old.

at the moment, I don't have any earnings. I'm a college student, there's no time left for a job.

I'm an undergrad student but this will be my fourth year working at Moe's (woohoo). I applied for an internship with the Bobcats but didn't get it so I'll just apply again next year.
