Also receiving votes, in order of finish, were Carmelo Anthony, Dirk Nowitzki, Steve Nash, Deron Williams, Amar'e Stoudemire, Manu Ginobili, Chris Bosh, Joe Johnson, Stephen Jackson and Chauncey Billups.
14th place. Not bad, especially since I'm sure Wallace was at least in the conversation.

Technically, he was tied with Bosh, Billups, and Johnson.
Means nothing but still funny to see his name in an NBA press release. They really don't enjoy recognizing him.

Significant vote getter? That title is a bit misleading. He received one vote for 5th place. It is significant that he received any recognition (especially when G-Force should have gotten it) but it was a speck on the radar relative to the big vote getters.

Sorry. All I saw was the positions, not the vote counts. I assumed more than 16 or so people would have gotten votes.

Still though, it's nice to have a Bobcat mentioned. Who saw a Bobcat getting any, let alone one, MVP vote a the beginning of the year?

Someone should have their voting rights taken away...

Now, trade him for Al Jefferson.
