Why do people keep saying that Roger Mason Jr. would be a good addition to this, or ANY, team? The guy's not even that good of a shooter - and he's horrible at everything else. Matt Bonner? lol...

You must be the new Schnitzel. Roger Mason isn't bad. He's a career .381 shooter from deep and the only time he got a chance to play minutes (last year) he shot .421 from deep. He's always been a solid defender too and plays team ball so I don't really understand why you seem to think he sucks.

Pass on Roger Mason, Jr.

I'd go after Anthony Morrow, who will be available this offseason.

Roger Mason Jr. is horrible lol

Ask a Spurs fan how many times they cringed as Pop left him on the floor for extended minutes. He's like a dollar store Voshon Leonard. The guy can't guard any starting shooting guard in the NBA. You gotta remember that Tim Duncan behind you makes your defense at least 10x better - but even with that, the guy looked a mess. I'd rather see the team bring back Steve Smith than see them invest more than a bucket of chicken wings in Roger Mason Jr.

I can't imagine the Warriors wouldn't commit to him long term, and if they don't, I'm sure one of these teams with gobs of cap space will. Too bad we aren't in a position to make a run at him because I'd love to have him.

One guy that might be getable though (assuming we were willing to spend some money) would be Nate Robinson. I know he's another problem child, but he'd address the 3 pt. shooting deficiency and could be a premier bench scorer. I'd take him over Flip or Hughes as a 3rd guard.

Demon...I'm sure you're correct about Robinson but I hate the guy...so we'd have my two least favorite players (Nate and Doris) on our team...

Yeah, I don't like him either, but I have a feeling he would grow on me if he was dropping 40 on our opponents.

He's an energy player, but in NYC they called Nate "Lil' Him" because it's all about Nate.

Pass on Roger Mason and Nate

Nate can't defend, he probably couldn't defend me...hell, I might even have an inch or two on him. I pray somehow we get Ray Allen as our 6th man, that is a pipe dream but I would jizz my pants if it happened.

Its clear that this team will never be successful without Sean May. He's our only hope. If we don't land him this off-season, blow it up.

I'm still here, bro.

And I'm not against signing Mason if he accepts the same deal we offered Flip. I think it was something around $2million per year, wasn't it?

But I also agree with DYNasty, Mason tends to be really awful, but hell, we need some god damn shooters on this team.

It was the Bi-Annual Exception, 1 year, 1.99 mil. But we could only offer that much as part of the MLE, because, well, it's a bi-annual exception.
