The designers at 2K must think so. In addition to acting as cover model for "NBA 2K11," the speculation is that Jordan will also be digitized into a playable character. This means gamers will become the virtual MJ in hopes of reliving some of his trademark moments.

Has MJ ever been on a video game? I don't recall him being on one... dating back to NBA Jam.

He was in NBA Live 2000, I know because I had it and the box was like, "Play as MJ!"

Also I guess the last time would also be when he was with the Wizards.

Yeah, he was on NBA Live 03, I remember playing as the Wizards just for that.

Since then, none of the yearly releases have had him I don't think.

Perhaps since he's majority owner at Bobcats games, they'll implement him into the game pacing the sidelines with LB. Then jump out of his seat and pump his fist when we hit a 3. I'm kidding, its 2k. If they implement that, they'll probably fill the game with masses of other bugs as a result.

Bulls vs. Blazers on Sega is the last game I remember playing Jordan on. I don't count Wizards Jordan. If this rumor is true I think it's great for the franchise. Jordan is the first player/owner ( Lebron will be the next ) Being on the cover brings more attention to the Bobcats. Plus Jordan is awesome, his image is known worldwide. This could really help the Cats get more attention

Don't get me wrong Teej. I love NBA2k10, great game but they brought it out with absolutely no polish. Hundreds of bugs that they didn't fix, and still haven't fixed yet to this day. It was like Empire: Total war, great game but came out with a gazillion bugs.

They'll implement more stuff, upgrade animations and so on, but many of the bugs will remain the same.
