I figure that if we trade for a pick, we would be looking at a late 1st, early 2nd rounder. So based on that range, I would like to see us get one of these guys:

Lance Stephenson: We do have alot of guards, so we dont necessarily need him, but I really like his game. He is a great defender who is compared to Ron Artest. He's one of those guys who could be a huge steal, or a guy who never does a thing and sits on his bench for his whole career.

Craig Brackins: I love this guys game. He's a good scoring forward who is also athletic. He might be a bit of a project tho, ala Anthony Randolph of the Warriors, because his body seems like it could be beat up a little when contact is taken by the big guys of the NBA. But we can afford to wait a year or two, considering Diaw and Tyrus will more than likely be back next year.

Soloman Alabi: He is probably my favorite of the 3 guys I have listed here. He is a 7'1" center who can clog up the lane and play defense. Sounds a bit like Diop....but Soloman has more skills, and he only averaged 2.3 fouls per game in college. He also is good around the rim as far as cleaning up for others. I think he would work out great with our current roster because we need someone who can clean up missed jumpshots :/ lol

If we somehow got into the top twenty...
I would like to see us draft Hassan Whiteside or Ekpe Udoh. They are both good rebounders and have good size. But I doubt we get a pick high enough to think about getting either one.

I like the Idea of getting Whiteside. He would need to spend some time in the D-league most likely but LB would love his length. I also think Ed Davis could be a nice pick up if we could get a high pick. His stock is down right now because of a hard team situation so there could be some good value there.

LB is great at finding guys in the second round and I think he is going to get us some prospects out of nothing this year. JP Prince is the best player nobody is talking about. (6'7'' Rondo clone) I hope we bring him in for a look as a combo guard prospect.

I didnt say Davis because I wasnt ever really impressed with him in any games I watched this year. I will be interested to se how he does in the NBA tho.

i agree, idk what davis will do in the league. brandan wright hasnt turned out too well. i see too many similarities. davis is still kinda soft, but who knows he could bee really good he has the tools.

Yep.

If Barkley and Chuck Hayes can do it, why not?

i 100% agree!!! i think mikhail would be a great pick. one other i would like to see bobcats get:

Desean Butler: i was born in west virginia and i watchd every game for the past 2 years. Everything he does reminds me of Gerald Wallace.

Big shot Butler! Will he even be healthy by the time the draft comes around? That knee injury was pretty bad.

"Portland moves up to #34 in exchange for cash. My guess is they're going after either Gani Lawal or Trevor Booker at that spot."That was tweeted by draft express... sorry lol

He was a pretty good scoring threat for UNC. Do you think MJ and LB might try to bring him in and see if they can rekindle his ability to score?
