If Felton ends up signing with another team, do we try to sign another PG who's a free agent? Which Point Guards work well in our system? Ridnour? Is Aaron Brooks available? TJ Ford? Steve Blake? Jordan Farmar? Kyle Lowry?

Well the 'Cats haven't made their usual off-season head-scratcher yet...I'm thinking we sign some unknown PG from an unknown foreign league with an unpronouncable name...like Qxgrivoslav N'do'do'do'xnoy, the MVP of the Papua New Guinea basketball league

you are not going to see any moves or hear of many rumours until all the big free agents sign.
that's when the 2nd part of the free agent season will begin.
until bosh, lebron, wade, and joe johnson sign, you will not see anything from the bobcats.

ha! good point. add gooden to the list as well.
Teams that know they have no chance to land a top-tier FA will sign players (if they have the money)...we have no money so trades are the only way (as well as "cheap" players)...
as for PG...if Ray walks it will be DJ, (fill in washed-up vet that LB loves), and a minimum-combo.

Not to play the devils advocate, but Iverson would address our need for another scorer. The argument against him would be his selfishness, but for everyone worried that DJ isn't starter material he would certainly help more than any other PG in free agency.
I'm not going to make a push for him or anything, or try and convince you that we need him, all I'm saying is I would have no problem if we signed him. Do I think it will happen? No. I'm just saying.

There was a rumor that he had a drinking/substance abuse problem. If true I would think how he is dealing with that would be key to a comeback.

Its no rumor. Dude was a wreck last season. He told the sixers that he was with his sick daughter while he was actually out gambling, drinking, and hittin up strip clubs.
