So does that leave us about 2 Mil more than we expected?

Does that leave us with enough to sign Felton and Tyrus? I guess we should probably do it and move an expiring piece at the deadline.

Per Tam's wondrous thread we're sitting at 59,127,730 without Tyrus' QO. Add 6,256,806 and you get 65,384,536. The TAX is 70.307 (70,307,000).
70,307,000 - 65,384,536 = 4,922,464 til we hit the tax limit. That's not including about 800k we're assessed for not having 13 signed spots but that'll go away just as soon as we sign someone.
This is GREAT news!

$70.3 million before luxury tax kicks in. Great news for all NBA teams but especially the Bobcats. Now we may be able to match an offer for Thomas if the initial year is in the 8-9 million range.
Excellent news. Now we can get a competent point guard.
