He is playing summer league for the Raptors but I don't think he is under contract. Brown had a really nice first game: 11pts on 5/6, 1/1 downtown, 3 reb, 6 assists, 1 steal, 1 pf, and 2 turnovers in 20 min.

I hope this guy is on our radar. He has some NBA experience already which is valuable.

Next summer league games for the raptors are Tues at 6:30 and Wed at 6:00

Didn't we try him out first, a few years ago?.....

So it should be the Bobcats prerogative....

Sorry I could not resist.

You're right, he'd make a great new edition to the team.

Yeah, kick Houston around a little bit. (okay I've really gone low with this one, but I couldn't figure out how to work in Bel Biv Devoe.....)

Well, every little step he takes is important for cracking an NBA roster.

Okay, I just can't stop myself. Please, somebody tell me to quit.

But hasn't he just been humpin' around from team to team year after year? Maybe I'm wrong.

Didn't realize anyone else was so knowledgeable on Bobby Brown's discography on BCP. Lovin' it.

I'm from way back, LiquidWayno. I remember when Bobby Brown's music was all over the place.

But I was more into rap than "R and B". I used to "kick it" with my homies to some "Tribe Called Quest", "Public Enemy", and "De La Soul".......

Those were the days.

Perhaps I should apologize to GoBobs for making this one of the worst threads ever........

I'm from that same era and while Tribe Called Quest and others were great, De La Soul, especially 3 Feet High and Rising, is absolutely classic. One of the best ever!

Wait. The Roots are old school? Good lord. I guess Kurtis Blow and Grandmaster Flash are classical now.

This was my first thought... The Roots might be middle-age school, but they're not old.

Does that mean that "The Message" will be played on NPR?

Another stellar game 6/7, 2/2 downtown, 6/7 FT, 3 assists, 1 turnover, 2 steals 20 pts

over two games that is 11/13, 3/3 downtown, 9 assists, 3 steals, 3 turnovers
