The Jazz have been heavily pursuing Al Jefferson in the past couple days. Its really the only thing it could be

I think youre right, but they also have an outstanding offer on Matthews. Just like our trade...isnt done til its done.

I can't imagine he'd be that excited about matching an offer sheet for Wes Matthews

Sounds like it is Al... And the price is apparently out of our asking range... They want no salaries back and multiple 1st rounders - Jazz using the Boozer trade exception.

We really wouldnt have had a shot if thats what they were asking. I am sure we had to have put something out there. Even with this Toronto deal looming. I wonder if Jordan's cold feet have anything to do with this going thru? Interesting thought...since reports were around the same time.
Anyhow...I feel the same as the Beasely deal...as I do Jefferson. Would have been nice, but teams were wanting different pieces, that we didnt have.

It's done. Utah gave up how much? wut? LOL.
If Jefferson's knee goes out again, they are really screwed.

If we knew he could stay healthy, he was well worth it. I would've been happy to give them 2 1st rounders...
Look at it this way, for us it would've been like Adam Morrison and Sean May for Al.
