"One source close to the situation said that the Bobcats will consider keeping Dampier for the short term, instead of waiving him immediately, in case another trade opportunity presents itself. Charlotte still needs a point guard and, according to sources with knowledge of the team's thinking, has expressed interest in Minnesota's Ramon Sessions (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?playerId=3231)."

Doesn't sound like an actual source, sounds like another one of those, 'I'm a sports writer, lemme throw this shit and see if it sticks' source... "with knowledge of the team's thinking" we have "expressed interest" in Sessions?
I was under the impression that you either think or do as a franchise. If we expressed interest, wouldn't we be done thinking?
And btw, Amp, you mentioned the fear of Ellis being brought in as another drive first, shoot later guy - boy, Sessions .067 3pt % is impressive lol.

lol, even the wording sounds like the writer wants you to know he's making it up. Either that or he doesn't quite trust Elmer the head custodian at TWC Arena.

he's from Myrtle Beach... Would prefer him to Calderon and his $33 mil over 3 seasons.
A DJ/Ramon/Collins trio for one year would be fine by me.

According to sources with knowledge of my own personal thinking, I'd look around some more before I'd sign Sessions.

I was a Sessions fan before the hype (i was blogging about him when he was just a d-league call up/before his huge game he had with the Bucks his rookie year). If we got him, the jizz stain i would produce would be too large to wipe off the forum ever.
Pleasepleasepleasepleasepleasepleasepleasepleasepl easeplease let this happen.

Sessions is over paid. Would rather have Bobby Brown.

$4 million a year for starting PG? I think it'd be worth it, personally.

I thought they've been saying Jonny Flynn was available. If so, F Sessions, I'd get Flynn in a heartbeat.

I'm not a Sessions fan, don't know what the fuss is about. He broke a record once and was mediocre next season after that and disappeared into oblivion because of a rookie.

What would be more disastrous for the Cats, bringing on Allen Iverson or Gilbert Arenas?

Arenas that one is easy. We could get AI for next to nothing.
