BCP Traffic levels

Just wanted to let you guys know that Monday's traffic levels were about 40% higher than the previous highest day, Then Tuesday was 30% higher than Monday.

If I remember correctly, prior to the past few days the highest traffic levels were during last year's trade deadline with the Tyrus Thomas trade and the (almost) TJ Ford trade.

I guess all of the rumors caused a lot of dormant Cats fans to come out of hibernation.

Word. Old school BCPers were always the best. Bumpus, Dav7z, Ziggy (of course), Beagle, Spectre, DNB, etc. Without a community like this it would've been an even bigger struggle to survive that year with the FHB as a Cats fan. (Oh, I should mention Amour too!) Not that I done appreciate all the newer folks - communities must grow, and this is still the best of 'em - but everyone was so level-headed back in the day.

Edit: I'm sure I'm forgetting to mention lots of folks.

bumpus, we are certainly glad to have you back :cool: Darn tootin'!!! ziggy can tell you how often I asked if he had heard from you over the last 2 years....was a little worried, frankly, but glad to see you haven't lost a step, my man!

And yep, ziggy, the Raymond departure and the trade swirlings woke me from hibernation, completing my annual end-of-the-year decompression from anohter fun but stressful Bobcats season.

And thirdly, agreed, Muttley, can't survive or thrive without new members, but I have a soft spot for the old timers too :cool:

I think we've always been the most active Bobcats' site on the internet and we have some of the most intelligent people posting here. Unlike other sites this one never just dies in the offseason either.

You've created a great thing Zig. Props to you and everyone else who made it happen.

same here....but i think i posted under a different name. every once in awhile if i get on someone else's computer a little sauced up, i will accidentally type that web address, while meaning to come here. it's rare, but i laugh at how bookmarks on computers can have an effect on people.... kind of like how i don't know so many people's phone numbers, because their name is what i look for in my phone book rather than their number.

regardless, i heart bcp and am glad this site is here to stay. much respect to all of the mods and members holding it down making it what it is every day.

I'm glad the place is still around and has tons of people posting...I remember when I first came here there was Ziggy and roughly 4 or 5 people posting along with myself...it was rather uneventful.
