Could someone post a summary? Anything new or are they sourcing the Observer?

its just a paragraph from the Observer article about it. Just saying we'd have to give up dampier, wallace, picks and maybe henderson or dj to get it done.

not really at all considering Gerald Wallace wasn't involved. thats kind of a big part of the trade

So the copy something free to the public on the observer site, and only allow there paying members to see it?

Exactly. Bonnell's article and apparently this one are just stating what any logical person would think it would take to get CP, which is pretty much every asset we've got, expirings, our all-star, and picks. What makes the rumor we heard such a major coup is that we'd possibly get him without having to give up Wallace. The other significant difference is that no media outlet has touched on the part about Melo. I am a little surprised that this rumor isn't all over every sports channel and website in the country 24/7. When you think about it, CP and Melo potentially being traded to team Jordan is right up there with Lebron/Wade/Bosh. It just blows my mind that this hasn't gotten out there beyond BCP.

I think there are two reasons:
1. It's completely unfathomable that the Bobcats could pull that off, especially if you're a media person who dismisses the Bobcats out of hand.
2. The organization is probably denying every bit of it so as to not ruin any chance of it working.
Between those two things, it almost makes sense that nothing would be discussed until the deal was consummated.

it's ok. the national outlook of the cats is nothing more than we are a pure joke. they aren't taking this seriously anyway. this won't impact anything. as far as the national media know, this is a kook beat writer making a wish list.

I think every media outlet's mind was blown when they read Charlotte Bobcats and New Orleans Hornets in the same sentence.
